1) My discussion topic is the effect of foreign intrusions on democracy. This topic
interests me because I wanted to know the effect of foreign intrusions on democracy. For
instance, I was interested in finding out how Russia interferes with the democracy of the United
State. Also, foreign countries such as Russia include attempts to distribute untrue stories and
information in the media in order to influence an essentially political decision in Canada.
2) This discussion is related to political science in that political science will focus on
developing policies that can help solve the problems linked to foreign intrusions on the
democratic process of the country. This discussion topic is trying to find out policies that will
solve the issues of foreign intrusion to ensure that the election process of any country is free and
fair. The discussion of this top is quite essential because it can prevent the conflict that may arise
between different States. For example, it can prevent the conflict between the United State and
Russia.

contribution to all the democratic government in the world. This article is also important because

2) The main political party in Canada that would support my view on how foreign
intrusions can interfere with election In Canada is known as Green Party. The Green party
leaders are all in the forefront in condemning the Foreign intrusions to the Canadian political
affairs. The green party often argues that Foreign countries disrupt democracy in Canada in that
they interfere with the election process in the country.
3) Foreign interference with the election of other countries is thus developing as a threat
to the security of the nation. It can also interfere with the election of the country hence leading to
political wrangles in the country. Therefore, suitable law is necessary to ensure that the
democratic process of the country is well protected against foreign intrusion. It will ensure that
the Citizens are not exposed to foreign influence. The law that can help safeguard foreign
intrusion is that the country should structure its security apparatus to counter and identify foreign
interference especially in cyberspace, and enforce significant costs on individuals responsible for
the attacks.
4) Democracy is a situation whereby each and every individual is given the opportunity
to select their own leaders. The issue of foreign intrusion to the Canada elections is linked to
democracy in that the foreign Countries such as Russia can spread fake news in social media
platforms that can undermine democracy. The spread of dangerous information can also create
conflict as well as violence protest in the country. Foreign intrusion also hinders democracy
process in that it prevents the Citizens from selecting leaders of their own choice. For instance,
most of the people will be forced to select other leaders which will not represent their views as
stated in the constitution. Therefore, it is clear that the issue of foreign intrusions can interfere

with the democratic process of the country. The government should develop appropriate policies
to help in controlling and regulating social media platforms such as Facebook, internet and
Twitter as this will also control information being post on those social media platforms.
5) Violent protests are a criminal act. They are not a symbol of democracy. Peaceful
protest is more appropriate as compared to the use of violent protests. This is because a violent
protest is more dangerous as well as demanding. Also, the application of violent protest often
cause destruction of property, and most individuals are always attacked during the process. This
will require that those who are affected to be supported for them to live a happy life. The use of
peaceful protest does not harm people or destroy property. Peaceful protest is the most effective
method of tackling issues in society. Citizens should be given the chance to conduct a peaceful
protest in order for them to raise issues that affect them. Therefore, the most suitable way of
conducting protests in the country is by use of peaceful protest. This is because it ensures that
there is no destruction of property.
6) The media coverage may collect wrong information from the society. It may also
decide to gather important information on issues that relate to political science. These political
issues can either affect the citizens either positively or negatively. The media may also decide to
neglect the issues that affect the society. When people post fake news and information on the
social media platforms; it can greatly contribute to the destruction of democracy. The false news
and information being post on social media platforms can also weaken democratic institutions.
Therefore, it is true that the media can influence, manipulate, pressurize and persuade society.
Media coverage is one of the best ways of influencing economic perceptions.
7) Social science is essential in different areas such as the justice system, business, social
as well as primary care. Social sciences mainly study the relationship among different

individuals within the community. The knowledge of social sciences can assist students to
improve their communities. Social science can also help social workers to understand the
importance of human relationships in the society. It also offers additional information on social
situations for example romantic relationships, raising children, friendships, interactions with
strangers, work place relationships, and family relationships, among others. Social science bind
people together in the community thereby enable them to live together in harmony.
