INTRODUCTION
 The development within life is essential and every
individual has the right to be treated in well manner.
 All people must behave properly while handling
different situations of life especially the negatives ones.

Overview of the case
The present case study is based upon Moore family. There is
no one to take care small children of this family. There
are two kids in this family who are having learning
disability and their names are Jacob and Barry. Their
parents are Michael and Elaine and they are having
drinking problem.

Appropriate theories and Models
There are several models of system approaches that are
related to Moore case study. The chosen theory is Piaget
theory. This theory is helpful for professionals in
understanding and analysing demands and needs of
children.

The Sensorimotor Stage – This is the development of
children from birth to 2 years of age.
The Pre-operational Stage – This stage includes the age
between 2 to 7 years of age. This is time when children
start to develop various thoughts in symbolic manner.

Applying this theory on Barry and
Candice
From the Piaget's theory, it is considered that Barry ha learning
disability which interfere with learning basic skills of a
person like reading, writing and math. This problem can lead
problems in personal relationships with family and friends or
workplace. Barry needs special care and emotional support for
managing and handling various life problems.

Benefits Of Theory
Development in children is properly explained in all the stages of
life. This theory provides information about how to manage
and take care of how children must be treated and provided
care. It is essential for all children that they are provided good
environment in which they can grow and develop their life.

Limitations of Theory
It is essential to define new terms operationally and it is
difficult for people to assess significance of general
findings as these can be easily and precisely replicated.
The main demerit of this theory is that research conducted
for analysing the lives of children were not reliable as
there can be biases

Conclusion
From the above presentation, it has been summarised that life
cycle development can be described as age related changes
which occurs in human body from birth, throughout the life of
an individual, into and during the period of old age.
