Life Without Barriers is a well-known Australian non-government charitable organisation
that is aiming at providing a range of support services to people of all ages and abilities. The
current report comprises of demonstrating knowledge and ability in identifying a relevant NGO
in rural and remote context of Australia (Pande & Pande, 2021). Beside this, a critical review of

remote community. It has been seen and observed that the local people who are living in the rural
and remote community are deprived of the many basic services and thus face many barriers and
issues in having education, medical facilities and proper source of income along with the high
level of poverty (Vergani & Navarro, 2021). The list of NGO which are currently operating and
working in Australia for supporting better meeting of needs and providing basic services to
people living in rural and remote community of Australia of listed as below:
Action on Poverty- It is an independent and secular non for profit organisation that is fully
accredited by the Australian NGO and was founded in the year of 1968. The main aim and focus
of the Action on Poverty organisation comprises of empowering the local people and
organisation in most effective and efficient manner and aim at eliminating poverty from
grassroots level (Kakani & et. al., 2021).
Act for peace- It is an international aid agency of the national council which works under
the advises of the Minister for Education. The main aim and purpose of the Act for peace
organisation is to ensure curriculum and assessment for early childhood education, primary and
post-primary schools. assessment procedures used in schools and examinations on subjects
which are part of the curriculum.
