1. To succeed in an ever-changing ICT profession, it is very important to become a lifelong
learner. Do some background research, evaluate the information and write about your
understanding of being a lifelong learner and why it is important for ICT professional
(write with an example). (word limit: 150 words).
As per my understanding and research lifelong learning is indeed a prerequisite in the field of
information communication technology. In the dynamic environment of today, much
advancement occurs in the blink of an eye and therefore it is extremely necessary for an
individual to develop creative and effective understating of the changes in the industry. Lifelong
learning is essential for continuous and effective development of an individual. In the ICT
professions, it is required to develop a regular basis of learning and understanding to provide for
effective career growth and development. I have observed with my past experience and task
accomplishment that lifelong learner is the ability to develop an understanding of complex
advancements that take place in the industry on a daily basis. I have observed it supports
effective future development of the individual as per the requirements of the industry. Lifelong
learning is crucial for developing career skills and abilities.

2. Analyse the information you gathered in step 1, do some further research, evaluate the
information and write in your own words how you can become an effective lifelong learner
(include your plan for that). (word limit: 150 words).
In order to develop as an effective lifelong learner, it is essential for me to make conscious
decisions. It is necessary for me to me keep my zeal and acquire learning in different sectors
irrespective of the difficulties I face in the developments. I have also observed that it is the
requirement of lifelong learning to support engagement into work-related activities and
procedures that foster continual learning. I will enroll in such programs and processes that
support for development in different domains of knowledge. I have observed that ICT is a
dynamic and structured profession which enrolls various changes and alterations in its orbits. It
accommodates for different changes and developments that must be thought upon and retained
on a regular basis to support lifelong learner. I will also identify specific learning styles and
preferences that will aid me to define my leaning paths and procedures in an effective manner.

I did this task with the knowledge gained through my previous learning and assessments. The
task has also been performed with the understanding of lifelong learning and effective
interpretation of ICT professions and requirements.
b. Evaluate and write a brief description of your experience of doing this task. Was this
task easy or hard? Justify your answer briefly (your justification may include if your past
knowledge helped you doing this task or if it was a total new experience for you).
Yes, this task was easy for me to accomplish. The task only required me answering different
questions regarding the experience gained through my previous learning and information. This
was a totally new experience for me as I have never engaged in any such task before.
c. Analyse critically and explain what have you learnt from this task? If you think you did
not learn anything then give reason why you think so?
Through the accomplishment of this task, I have gained knowledge and information regarding
the aspects and concepts of lifelong learning. I developed an understanding of why lifelong
learning is important in the ICT profession. I have also learned about how to enhance my
learning abilities in regards to lifelong learning.
d. How this experience will help you in the future? If you think that this experience will not
help you in the future, then provide your reasoning for that as well. (word limit: 200

This experience has aided me to acquire learning about lifelong learning. It will help me to
develop different skills and abilities that will further create opportunities to develop professional
aspects and requirements. The learning through this task will help me to generate a greater
understanding of different approaches and strategies developing with time.
