TASK 1 RESEARCH INTRODUCTION
TOPIC: LIFESTYLE AND ITS ROLE IN PHYSICAL AND MENTAL
WELLBEING
INTRODUCTION
Lifestyle does matter when it comes to physical and mental well-being, this simply means
when individual try to improve their lifestyle which include way of talking, ethics & moral,
manners and dressing sense. Every individual have their own personality which keep them
different from others, physical and mental health illness in the way individual manage
themselves in front of others.
Aims:
The aim of this study is “To investigate role of lifestyle in physical and mental well-being”
Objectives:
To investigate role of lifestyle on physical and mental well-being.
To understand factors that impact lifestyle.
To provide the best strategies for better lifestyle that impact physical and mental well-
being.
Key issue in research:
Reliability: Reliability does matter when it comes to research, this is key issue because chosen
topic is not wide and have limited information available.
Face and actual validity: Validity is important element when conducting research on critical
topic, lifestyle may sound common but understand its role in both area impact validity of
research.
Ethical issue: This is common type of issue where research gets affected due to ethical
consideration, focusing on lifestyle means researcher need to consider personal area of others.
Research rationale:
The reason behind this study is to understand role of lifestyle in physical and mental well-being.
Lifestyle is one of the most important element for every individual in which they focus on their
personality improvement, here, both mental and physical well-being is impacted. Lifestyle does
play vital role in well-being of physical area and mental stability, person with depression need to
first improve their lifestyle to improve their mental stability.

Types of data:
Data is one of the simplest form of raw information which is connected with the chosen
topic, data differ from information because information is analysed and organized set of content
used for the completion of study and knowledge what researcher gain from conducting research.
Research is impacted due to data and information which is collected because at first data stay in
raw form later it is analysed and cleared to get final knowledge, this process might impact
reliability of research and might impact research performance.
Data available in structured form provide better result as structure cover every important
area and might impact performance of research, data in structured means researcher will easily
complete their study as data is ready to analyse. One of the biggest pros of this type of data is
structure and clear process, however, this type of data is complex because this might impact
reliability of the research.
TASK 2 COLLECTING DATA AND EVALUATING SOURCE
Data collection:
Data collection is one of the most important part of every research in which researcher
collect data with the help of two most common method, primary data collection and secondary
data collection. Primary data means information which is collected directly from source, for
example; interview and questionnaire where researcher has new data (Barrett and Twycross,
2018). Secondary data means information which is been used by other researcher as well for
completing the research, both method of data is valid but reliability of both method might be
different depending on the topic chosen by the researcher. Primary data is more reliable as
compared to secondary data.
Primary data is one of the most relevant type of data which is considered to gather new
information with the help of interviewing individual and understanding their lifestyle, this
chosen topic focus on one of the most important area of society, studying on lifestyle demand
researcher to consider primary data which allow them to effectively complete their study. This
topic is focusing on primary data collection which means primary data will be considered, this
will be relevant because primary data consider thematic form of data allowing researcher to
gather new information which is not been used before in any research make this study more
reliable.

Data collection is one of the most common process in which data is collected with two
most common process, random sampling and non random sampling. For the completion of this
study, non random sampling is best which allow researcher to set criteria for collecting data
where each and every participant and their viewpoint is considered in the study (Mkandawire,
2019). There are certain issue in this method of data collection. For example; researcher might
impact moral and value of participant while exploring viewpoint. Focusing on lifestyle which
means researcher will explore thoughts and feeling of participant might impact ethical standard.

TASK 3 ANALYSING AND INTERPRETING DATA
Data analysis is one of the most common but important type of process in which
researcher considers academic source to complete their study (Bergin, 2018). From above three
references, data is collected for primary purpose of gathering information which help in
completion of the study. There is one use of data from the collected sources, these are:
To gather information: Collected references provide one important use, to gather information
related to the chosen topic for the completion of the study. It is very clear that these sources are
focusing on lifestyle which is not broad area, here viewpoint are collected and consider by the
research which is useful for the completion of this study.
Explaining how data is been analysed:
Data is been analysed with the help of both primary and secondary method, authors have
focused on thematic research to get in depth details of the chosen topic whereas author have
reviewed certain paper that discuss lifestyle and its role in the well-being of physical and mental
area.
Identifying one way in which data is been used:
All data collected and analysed are used by the author for the completion of their study,
authors have considered observational method of using data to get more reliable answer (Elliott,
2018). It is very clear that data is been collected in primary and secondary way which means
author have observed the viewpoint of participant.
TASK 4 USING DATA AND INFORMATION SECURITY SYSTEMS
Use of data for decision-making:
Data play vital role when it comes to decision-making process, researcher consider data
when focusing on making certain decision because before reviewing or examining the data, it is
challenging to provide one effective decision (Chico, 2018).
Data can be used to monitor and measure performance of research, it is very clear that researcher
considers some data to test their reliability and validity of their research. Sometimes data is been
used to measure performance of the research on particular topic.
There are two contrasting techniques used to measure quality of data; these are:
Accuracy does matter when it comes to measure quality of data.
Reliability is important area in which data and its quality is been considered.

Information security system:
Data protection does matter when it comes to research, here, researcher need to protect
data which is collected with the help of both primary and secondary method to avoid any kind of
misuse of these data (Ducato, 2020). Previous data is been compromised because of breach that
occur due to less security measure. There are three most common but effective process of keep
data safe, these are: Data encryption: This is one of the most common way in which researcher need to
protect data using devise and software. Limited access: In this process, researcher will allow access to only limited people to
keep data safe.
Strong password: Password does matter when it comes to securing data, researcher need
to consider password.
In terms of reliability this knowledge about information security will help in further research
project, data security is important element which keep data reliable.
