The reason behind choosing these two American figures is that they have been in the
politics of America for long periods and have brought major changes in several sectors of the
large country. Both have been figures of importance and significance, not just in America,
but the whole world. They would have several topics to discuss on a table.
George Washington was the first president of United States of America and a
dominant figure in the house. And, Abraham Lincoln was known for his liberal outlook
towards the people and policies of America. They both would have a conversation of how
America has changed from the time they’ve been a part of it and how did history effect the
following changes.
Whatever America is shaped now, there has been a major part of the two figures, as
George Washington has been a symbol of nationalism and liberalism, who stood against the
colonial rule and came out through it. And Abraham Lincoln, being a classic and liberalist,
have carried America out from racist thoughts and brought a democratic political regime.
Two of them are counted in the three most influential presidents of America, so they
might discuss on how they have influenced the conditions of America.
In the time of Abraham Lincoln, business and liberal thoughts were motivated and
that led to a liberal America which has entered in the top notch list of business within the
boundaries as well as the export and import market in the world. Talking about the next
figure, George Washington was the first president and he helped in the framing of an
American outlook in the country.
There can be many questions and conversations that can be made with the following
two personalities regarding the thoughts and experiences that led them to start of
revolutionary activities. Those experiences can be kept as a motivation for the rest of the
population. A discussion on the philosophies of both the people is a must topic on a dinner
table.

Lincoln, as a man, was with firm principles, profound feelings and incorruptible
integrity and he was a man of politics. Whereas, Washington is known as the father of the
country, he did not have a political outlook towards things but he was skilled and a clever
army officer before getting into politics.
Washington initiated the basic fundamentals of the American society whereas Lincoln
shaped them into better policies. Both the people have been significant in the American
society and have enhanced the socio-political culture of the country in various ways. The
social set-up is affected by the history of famous figures and how their existence made a
change in the society and its people.
