We operate as a privately-owned child care service provider in Sydney running the service line from
2015 by providing learning and development service to the children from age 0 to 5 years. Little
Walkers has being into the service line with more than 500 children presently. We extend our
services by giving children a playful learning environment in terms of social, cognitive and emotional
development with security. We operate across Australia in Brisbane and Melbourne branches to
provide the learning and development service widely.

age. We try to support the working couples by keeping their children with us. We take care of

Our Approach
Little Stars Ltd. bring a diverse perspective in terms of linguistic development of the children
from 0 to 5 years of age through their families participating in the shared decision-making of
curriculum design. The values incorporated in the pedagogy are moral development of the
children with ethical principles. We help to give the children a creative and playful
environment with innovative technologies of learning in respective of their race or
community. Our organization also provided learning facilities for the disabled children with
extra care and precaution. We consult the psychologists in the childhood development area
and the pedagogy specialists too with a forum of parent representatives to arrive at decision
for the child learning development.
Our Service Philosophy
Our service rests on the philosophy of exploration and creativity of children in their journey
of learning. No traditional approaches are implemented. Our educators takes special care
towards each child’s development. We make it sure that your child feels safe and secure at
the end of the day. Our disciplinary policy does not involve beating or mishandling any child.
We provide the development and learning of child in the areas of cognitive, social, emotional,
physical and behavioralhjj within a cultural and moralistic environment.

Our Direction
We focus on building the best learning environment with quality trained teachers and nursing
trainers to look after the children. The learning materials are designed with the joint meeting
of the top management and the parent’s council where the representatives of each parent
group voice their opinions.
We focus primarily on the learning of preschoolers. The planning chart with the
documentation of children’s progress reports are presented to the parents in quarterly or
annual audit period I parent-educator conferences. The meetings between the top
management and the operational team of educators are held thrice a month. The learning kit
with the design of curriculum schedule and content are planned with the educators and
implemented as per the children’s needs. We keep the learning curriculum structured in
proper development progression phase from cognitive to social and emotional to behavioral
through various activities performed under guidance of our educators.
Another area of focus is on the training of the toddlers in walking, eating and daily behavioral
habits. We also provide weekly monitoring with parents and keep a record.
Both the toddlers and preschoolers are monitored upon their developmental progress and the
free-checkup of doctor with parental supervision are done. We focus not only on the learning
of the children but also on the mental and physical development with health and wellness
being a prime issue to us.

Our Educators
Our trained possess the certified qualification especially in childhood development and the
field of pedagogy. The educators carry a minimum qualification of Bachelor degree in any
general field or any other degree in science field.
Our educators are fully employed here with values of responsibility and integrity towards
their duty. We have 10 educators in the day care program looking after a batch of 20
toddlers.
Presently, we have 30 educators in the main Sydney branch, 20 in the Brisbane branch and
the 45 educator strength in our Melbourne branch.

Hours of Operation
Little Stars is open from Monday to Saturday.
The 6 days of operation are divided into 3 batches.
a. The morning batch has 15 educators
b. The early afternoon batch has 10 educators
c. The late afternoon batch has 10 educators
The timings are:
Monday – 7 am to 2 pm
Tuesday- 7am to 2 pm
Wednesday- 7am to 2 pm
Thursday- 7 am to 2 pm
Friday- 6am to 2 pm
Saturday- 6am to 2 pm
All the parents are requested to contact the educators and the administration facilities
between 7 am to 4 pm.

Fee Structure
The learning and development service is divided into 2 categories:
For toddlers:
Small duration of 3 hours = $100 per week
Medium duration of 5 hours = $200 per week
Long duration of 7 hours = $300 per week
For preschoolers:
Small duration of 4 hours = $ 300 per week
Long duration of 7 hours = $500 per week

Management Structure
The top management board consists of our CEO, Ms. Martha Gomes and our Director Mr.
Jonathan Gomes.
There are supervisors and top-management leaders structuring the curriculum and looking
after the budget allocation. The policies and the event decisions are taken by them.
The educators and nursing team is our operational team with more than 50 educators and 10
nurses included.
There are external consultants and the childhood development psychologists with pedagogy
specialists who assist us in our organizational decisions.

Special Activities/ Events
The special activities are planned as per the festival in the region and the cultural occasions
on the calendar.
The parents of the children are invited to cordially participate in the events along with the
students gathering themselves with educators to perform in such events. There are regional
and global events like Earth’s Day, Halloween. Christmas, Easter and the St. Patrick’s Day.
Little Stars also carry out annual events in sports, drawing competitions, creative marathon to
bring out the creative expression of children.

Little Stars Ltd. has achieved the ‘Top 20 child care services’ in the Sydney region on
December 2019.
It has also received prizes from its 6 toddler participants in the “Toddler Marathon” event on
