INTRODUCTION
Digital technology is increasing now a days and every individual person is using this in
their day to day life for meeting daily basis targets. There are several type of Digital tools which
such as Laptop, smart watch, mobile phones, AC, Video games and many more (Couldry, 2012).
These all are used in daily routine and also assist particular person in social construction, self-
identity, education, consumer choice and purchase behaviour.
TASK 4 Applied study: Living in a digital world
Need to keep a time diary of a week of individual life and record all use of digital technologies
Digital technology is used by me in my daily basis life through this I can achieve my day
to day targets in easy manner. Along with this all such tools are providing individual well settled
and smooth way of living life. Below mention is my one week record in which I am using
various digital tools for in my daily activity :-
One Week Plan
1 Week Plan Activity
1st Day First day of my week start with morning walk
in which I am wearing smart watch. This is an
digital technology tool because through this I
can count down my steps, heart beets and so
on.
2nd Day On second day, I use laptop for making
presentation to explain several things related to
my business.
3rd Day Third day of the week is Sunday, it is weekend
so for enjoying holiday I went for 3D show
with my friends.
4th Day Fourth Day is too hot so I spend my entire time
by sitting in AC at office.
5th Day Fifth day is full of meetings and call because of
this I spend by whole unit of time by using

human interaction (Belk, 2013). Social construct exists because human beings agree on it
that it exist. Best digital technology in the same is laptop, mobile phones and internet. Self – identity – This is an term which play important role in life of individual as well in
shaping life of ourself also. Self- identity is also known as self concept it involves
perception and thinking related to the status, ability as well worth (Llamas and Belk,
2013). Through Smart watch individual can maintain their health by counting foot steps,
heart beets and water level in body of individual. Education – It is the wealth of knowledge which can be acquired by an particular person
after studying specific subject or any course. These are the lessons or any experience of
something that provides understanding related to particular thing. Education is also
possible through digital technology such as laptop and mobile because in these internet
suffering can be done. Consumer Choice – This is an term which vary from consumer to consumer because it is
not possible that every person have same choice. It is the branch of microeconomics and
the same is related to the consumption expenditure as well to the demand curve of
consumer (Schneier, 2011). Mainly choice is depend on the taste and preferences of
individual person.
