 The project plan is found in a document which describes the cost, schedule and scope of
the project.
 It includes all activities which will be undertaken in the project for achieving the aims and
objectives of the project.
 This presentation is representing the project plan on IT Development Company. This is
the project of software development in which the company wants to develop a new
version of a student LMS app.

The project’s objectives
 The main objective of this project is to develop a project plan for the purpose of
developing a new version of the application which is the student LMS app.
 It is a software development project which includes a cost of dollar 5 lakh and has a fixed
price as well as time which is 6 months. The project has also an objective that it should
completed within timeline.

Project scope
 Project scope is found to be an important part of project planning which involves a list of
documents that includes project cost, project task, project goal and project deadline. It
includes:

Proposed plan for the delivery
 It is necessary to make a plan for the purpose of delivering software for students which is a new

 Billing schedule for considered as a distribution of the net amount in the project for a

 A milestone is found to be the specific point which is identified in the life cycle of a
project that is used to measure the progress towards the project goal.
 Milestones are playing a very important role in project planning.
 It can be projected start date or end date, external reviews or input, submission of a major
deliverable and budget checking.

Risk and issue logs
 There are many types of risks which will face in the project that should be dealt with.
Some important project risks are low performance, time crunch, scope creep, high cost,
ineffective communication, lack of clarity, operational changes and stretched resources. It
is necessary to overcome the issues.
 One important element which should be considered by the project manager in their plan is
the issue log which is a documentation of software that contains a list of ongoing as well
as closed issues in the project. It is very helpful in order to track the errors in the project.

Approach of reporting and stakeholder
management
 Reporting is playing an important role which refers to providing a high-level overview that
includes a critical review. There are many methods and approaches available so it depends on
the project manager to choose the approaches of the project which includes team availability
report, project health report, status report, time tracking report, etc.
 It is important to understand that stakeholders are the important players in the project and
that's why it is crucial to managing them than only a project manager is able to achieve the
goals and objective of the project. A stakeholder can be managed with effective leadership,
communication, response to feedback, etc.

 It can be concluded from the above discussion that a project plan is an important element
which is a necessity for the success and growth of a project.
 A project can only become successful when the project manager is effectively complete
the project.
