order to achieve competitive advantages and high measurable revenue this particular design is
determined as a suitable one for the consumers of local farm shop. Different promotional
activities can also be served with the help of the mobile app designed for the local farm shop.
The design developed in design 2 will represent the mobile app that will be developed for the
Local farm shop.
2. Reasoning behind selection of the design
There are many reasons for which this particular design is developed for the development
of the local farm shop’s mobile app. The robust applications of the mobile app are determined as
absolutely suitable for the business. The designed and illustrated design is specifically looks very
beautiful. The different applications of the mobile app are represented in different pages of the
mobile application. It is expected that with the successful implementation of the design the
consumers and the developers will be able to meet the requirements. From the mobile app the
consumers can book for their desired products and also can pay online securely. The link
between the embedded elements is also clearly designed in the Design 2. It has been found that
the designs of the elements are properly and sequentially organized and due to this reason the
mobile app is found to be a user friendly one. Due to user friendliness of the design, the

4. Reasoning behind the design decisions
In this modern world of technology, there are numerous mobile applications available for
various products or services. However, a concern that lies with retention level of those
applications is the design of user interface. It means that the applications with easy to use
interface are only kept by the users and the others are rejected by them soon after installation.
Hence, it has been identified that user interface and a good design is an essential factors for user
acceptance of mobile applications. The decisions being made for designing of the mobile
application for Local farm shop relates to the usability goals of a user interface. The designs have
been prepared such that the mobile application can be easily used by the users irrespective of
their technical knowledge. The Home page has been designed with navigation bar so that the
users can easily navigate to other pages of the mobile application. The buttons have been labelled
properly and placed in suitable places so that the users can easily determine the functions
performed by each button in the mobile application.
