INTRODUCTION
 In today’s technological era there are many platforms available which provide opportunity
and services to get ideal job of candidate profile. By using those resources, it becomes easy
for student to look for job vacancies and apply for it.
 The resources show lists of different jobs available in different companies. Thus, it is easy
to identify job roles and responsibilities.
 However, each resource is having pros and cons and features that vary from one another.
With help of it, individual can easily locate job and evaluate it. The platforms also enable in
analysing job on basis of several criteria.

FACEBOOK
 It is a social networking site which allow people to interact with each other and make
friends. There are several official pages of companies on Facebook where they post job
requirement.
 Moreover, employed people also update and share news or any vacancy available in their
company. Furthermore, by visiting official page of company it is easy to find out whether
job is available or not.
 Alongside, when people interacts, they also give reference for any job opportunity
available. So, it is a global platform where individual can easily use for getting employed.

 People are easily able to connect with professionals and others.
Disadvantage
 There are some fake job profile and companies’ pages been made.
 The individual confidential data and info can be easily hacked or leaked.
 Negative comments or feeds results in demotivating employees to apply for job.


Indeed
Indeed is employment related search engine which consists of several websites, associations, job
listing of companies, etc. it enables job seekers to find out their desired job and apply for it.
Advantage
 Its database enables in providing a streamlined process for job search.
 Its e mail feature sends mails directly to inbox of company
Disadvantage
 There is no proper job listing in indeed.
 It is only a search engine where jobs are searched.

LinkedIn
It is an employment service App or platform that is used for professional networking where
both employers and candidate create profile and connect with each other.
Advantage
 It requires little set up to register on LinkedIn
 The individual can directly apply for job in company of his or her interest.
 There are a lot of job listed which makes it easy for individual to apply for his or her
respective field.
Disadvantage
 Companies not always prefer LinkedIn to hire employees

Craigslist
It is a website that consists of many advertisements related to job, house, car, etc. it allows
people to look for job and other things easily.
Advantage
 It is different from other platforms as it provides job opportunities and job posting
boards.
 The individual can look for part time, full time, etc. types of jobs easily.
Disadvantage
 The job postings are left opened even when they are filled. So, it results in wasting of
time.
 User interface of craigslist is complex and typical to understand

Monster
It is a well known job search engine resource where individual can easily look for the job
opportunity. There are certain features and standards set by company.
Advantage
 The candidate can bock resume for companies he or she does not want to work for.
 It provides efficient filter options to filter jobs easily.
Disadvantage
 Spam and frauds related to monster results in redundancy of site.

CONCLUSION
 From PPT it can be summarised that there are various resources available for
employment related purpose. These resources are useful in finding out job opportunities
from one place through out the world.
 The students and other employed people are easily able to use it for their purpose. The
resources are Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.
 Each of them is having different features. In addition to it, they have different
disadvantage and advantages.
