INTRODUCTION
In an organisation it is needed to categorise how work is required to be done. In the
respective study, a project plan is made which gives light on how the restaurant is working in
given circumstances of COVID- 19 when the situations are not favourable. The restaurant Loch
Fyne is a chain restaurant operating its business in many countries. Loch Fyne is located in
Scotland and is providing a very beautiful scenic view which caters the need of nature lovers.
This is a premium restaurant where dining and many other hospitality related services are
provided (Jamieson, A. and Morris, P.W., 2007). The restaurant Loch Fyne also provides
services of pubbing where hard drinks are served and people visit for their recreational services.
Both the departments are different and are separated so that people can relish their time spent in
the place. Along with this there is description of project plan strategy discussing qualitative and
quantitative data methods which are used while completing this project. The project is proceeded
undertaking the situation of COVID- 19 which hampered the process.

In order to complete this project there are several research questions which are required
to be addressed which can work for easy completion and attending the project. The questions

In times of COVID- 19 how was restaurant, Loch Fyne catering the needs of consumers who
were staying in?

Was the availability of resources which were needed by visitors at times of COVID- 19?

Was the governing bodies helping appropriately the institution as and when required at times of
COVID- 19?

The research strategies which can be used in proper completion of the project plan in

Databases and Search Engine:
There are various Databases and Search Engine which can be used but to complete this
plan the databases and search engines used in completing the project are Google and online
resources (Patanakul, P. and Shenhar, A.J., 2012).

The background search which is performed relates to what is credibility of organisation
Loch Fyne.
Search terms:
The search terms which are used in the project plan regarding the hotel chain Loch Fyne
firstly is itself, Loch Fyne. Then the present circumstances of COVID – 19, what is the effect of
COVID – 19 on the restaurants, impact of the corona virus on operation of respective industry
and much more.
Inclusion/exclusion criteria:
There are various related terms which are used in Inclusion and Exclusion criteria which
can be seen as:
Inclusion Criteria: The inclusion criteria can be termed as the terms which are used in working
process of completing the project plan. The inclusion terms are COVID - 19, working of
restaurants.
Exclusion Criteria: The exclusion criteria can be seen as the terms which are related but are not
used in completion of the project plan. The exclusion terms are what was the virus in COVID –
19, which part of the world was left untouched by the diseases (Slevin, D.P. and Pinto, J.K.,
1987).

The research method used is online researching. Google search is performed where
several articles, sources, websites, books and journals have been considered.
Recording search strategy:
The recording search strategies which is used can be termed as finding the data using
search engine and then evaluating the same which is further performed on the basis of recording
the same in the project plan.

TASK 3 PRELIMINARY FINDINGS
The preliminary findings which can be derived from the project plan can be seen as Loch
Fyne was working with minimal resources and using them appropriately at the times of COVID
– 19 when there was total; shut down and availability of resources were scarce.
Background Information:
The information which was going on at the background surface while completing the
project plan was how the hotel was dealing with the conditions of COVID -19 and following
guidelines which were given by governing bodies of the respective country.
Qualitative:
This method of research follows an extended questionnaire which is close ended. This
refers to asking questions from several respondents by also giving them options and allowing
them to select from that.

The hierarchy of resources is a list which is used in collection of data and facts which are
important and relevant. They help in completing and fulfilling the job responsibilities which are
required for the project (Tyler, P.E., 1992). It serves with a lot of advantages and limitations as
well. The disadvantages can be termed as remaining limited to the sources which are provided.
CONCLUSION
From the above studied report based on Loch Fyne's Project Plan it can be seen as the
restaurant was facing a lot of issues at the times of COVID – 19. The project explains how and in

what manner data is collected which is used to complete the project. The terms associated to
Research plan and strategies are also explained. The report also focuses on discussing the issues,
challenges and solutions which are going in an organisation while they are operating.
