INTRODUCTION
There are lost of issues created at the time of organization London Olympic games. Team
members use their collective efforts in order to organize such event for the purpose of expand
business in international market (Richards, Fussey and Silke, 2010). The present is based on
London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). Such
organization is responsible to provide planning and development of summer Olympic.
TASK 1
As a members of LOCOG I have experienced so many things which are helpful for me to
improve my long term learning. While organizing London Olympic there are lots of issues has
been created which create mental pressure on people. I have noticed that there are large number
of candidates participate in London Olympic. Large number of participants are interested to win.
Also lots of issues created due to lack of coordination among team members. As they are not
able to properly coordinate with each other. Such has been occurred due to lack of
communication or interaction. I was used my entire skills and knowledge in order to resolve
issues and manage their performance as well. I have to present report on my person skills and
knowledge.
As a part of committee, during management of London Olympic I can receive so much
information about several types of Paralympic games. It can able to enhance my long term
learning. Also it improve my communication skills while I was interact with large number of
people who participate in games. I was actively participate in such process in order to attain
target and complete tasks within stipulated time period and in effective manner. Also I tried to
use my talent and skills in order to overcome several issues which are occurred during games. I
can actively participate in decision making process which is compulsory to attain target. I have to
take decision which is helpful for growth and development of games.
TASK 2
London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games is responsible to
organizing Olympic event and conduct proper arrangements as well. Members of cited company
have to frame various types of plans or strategies and the same in order to meet their objectives
and maintain their performance as well. Cited firm is responsible to provide planning and
development programme in summer Olympic games. They have to provide support to candidates

which are helpful for them. Members of cited firm have to use their collective efforts in order t
attain their target and maintain their performance international market. Such is not responsible to
set permanent venues in which games are conducted. They have to give equal support to each
and every sport on the competitions. Also instruct them to follow rules, regulation and policies
which are imposed on them and needs to comply with rules as well. They have to solve
transportation problems which are created during games. Also try to organize medical treatment
to them because lots of injuries sustained to people who participate in games. Have to organize
cultural events which are considered as essential elements related to celebration of Olympic
games. Large number of problems created during games. They have to opted different types of
plans and strategies in order to complete their tasks and maintain their services as well. They
must instruct sports person to follow rules and policies which are imposed on them. There are
different types of tasks are available for organizing committees which have to fulfil by them
within stipulated time period. Furthermore, planning is the forecasting process but it is helpful to
provide development in Olympic games. Through this members are able to maintain their
performance and comply with rules as well.
As per the views of Raco and Tunney, (2010), it has been depicted that, Members are
bound to follow rules, regulation and policies which are imposed on them and fulfil their target
as well. Firstly, members have to identify the problems and then take action in order to overcome
such issues. They have to suggest precautions helpful to reduce issues. According to legal
authorities there are various types restrictions imposed on them related to activities or
advertisement of business functions. Various types of functions require participation of
members. As they have to use their talents and skills in order to meet requirement of functions
and maintain their performance as well. All members are responsible to use their collective
efforts and use their entire talent in order to solve such problems and attain tasks within
stipulated time period. Some different tasks are as aligned below-
Equal treatment- Members needs to provide equal treatment to each and every sport on
the organised program as well as have to ensures that competitions. These are held on the basis
of the certain rules and regulation of International Sport Federation. Graham, (2012), says that
The main purpose of such federation is that determine activities as well as priorities in order to
promote games also through this they support sports. Through this they have to protect health of

athletes with the help of varieties of activities and planning. Provide opportunities to them in
order to enhance their performance.
Provide medical treatment- according to views of DeHanas and Pieri, (2011), it has been
stated that, members of committee are responsible to arrange medical treatment to candidates
who join sport. As they have to organize best and possible medical services to people in order to
maintain their health and protect their life from any type of serious injury. Through this they are
able to maintain services. Organize best possible treatment for people for the purpose of maintain
their health.
Transportation problems- Raco, (2012), says that There are various types of
transportation problems arise during Olympic games which needs to be resolve by members in
specified time period. For this purpose they have to use different types of methods and procedure
in order to identify best possible solution for the same. Due to this conflict, large number of
people are not able to attend games on time. So that, they have to identify best possible way to
resolve their problems and maintain their performance in games.
Use media- Committee needs to use mass media in order to fulfil requirement of games.
Through this members are easily able to collect information which are related to their purpose.
Also this process is helpful for them to deliver significant information or data in public. It is the
bets possible to to share information with people and try to interact with them as well. For the
business firms it is considered as issues for them. Furthermore, they have to manage their
performance in order to meet requirement of mass media.
Organize cultural events- Thus, this event is considered as important element of the
celebration of Olympic games. Members needs to organize such events in order to motivate
candidates towards fulfil their requirement. These events are able to boost up their level of
confidence and increase their efficiency level as well.
Protect rights or interest- Cited committee is responsible to protect interest or rights of
members in order to provide best possible services to them and maintain their performance as
well. Injuries can is created to members during such games so that supervisors needs to take
reasonable step for the same. People having right to receive proper medical treatment to them
whenever it require. As they have to use appropriate advance technologies which are helpful for
them to attain target and objectives as well. Through this committee is able to attain long term
success and fulfil demand of participants.

Financial issues- Various types of financial issues are also created. So that, for the same
purpose they have to frame several plans and procedure in order to overcome such issues which
are not beneficial for the management of the committee. Members of such firm have to manage
work according to requirement of management. At the time of financial crises management is not
able to provide best quality of services to people. Through this entity is able to attract large
number of people and try to offer services according to their taste, nature and preferences. In the
situation of financial crises members have to receive financial help from other sources such as
financial institution, other companies and much more. They have to arrange appropriate finance
in order to attain their target and fulfil requirement of people who join London Olympic.
Time management- On the basis of views of Tang and Cooper, (2013), it is depicted that,
Members of company have to set their activities and function according to time management.
This factor is considered as biggest risk for business. So that, they have to manage their activities
is overcome such issues. Also they have to use their collective efforts in order to resolve such
types of problems which are not beneficial for them. They have to follow structured process.
They have to focus on expenses which occurred in London Olympic games. For the same
purpose prepare list of expenses and arrange budget accordingly.
On the basis of the views of Frederick, Burch and Blaszka, (2015), it is stipulated that,
Generally business issues which are created at the time of organizing London Olympic events are
able to reduce performance of companies. According to views of Jenkins, (2011), London
Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games is the best committee of London
which is helpful for Olympic of London. Members of firm are responsible to use their collective
efforts in order to fulfil their target. They have to use their entire efforts or talent for the purpose
of provide best quality of services to people. These best quality services are able to attract large
number of people. Such committee is helpful for London Olympic by providing proper planning
and development. Each and every member of the firm are responsible to take part in decision
making process. The main purpose of it, is providing best quality services to sport. The main
objective of this committee is to provide proper health treatment to members according to their
requirement. International federation is also involve in this activity which is responsible to frame
different types of rules and regulation all members are bound to follow the same. Candidates
who going to participate in sports or games needs to maintain their performance as per those
rules and policies. Federation can imposed penalties on them if they not comply with rules.

As per views of Watson and White, (2012), it can be stated that London Olympics
committee of Olympics games is engaged in resolving various issues that affect the efficient
functioning of the organisation. In 2002 the committee of facing large numbers of problem
which can be solved and resolved through developing an effective actions plan for the higher
authority to regulate the action of the from and contribute in the success of organisations as well
as effectively achievement of the goals and objectives. The firm is facing various issues and
problems like brand positioning, security of the players and participants and women participation
and protecting the brand image.
As stated by Watt, (2013), the LOCOG firm is continuously engaged in maintaining an
good positioning of brand in the working environment in order to accomplish the gaols and aims
and objectives of the organisation and Olympics Game in front of the people effectively. The
organisation is also involved in resolving various problems related to the protection of brand
image and maintaining the standards of the brand effectively in functioning through maintaining
the quality of the actions and work in functionality effectively. The London Olympic
Organisation is also working for enhancing the security level for the participant in order to
develop an trustworthy and safe environment of participant which motivates the player to
perform with enhanced dedication and motivation.
CONCLUSION
On the above report, it is concluded that as members of LOCOG I can able to improve
my long term learning which is helpful in long term growth and development. There are large
number of people participate in London Olympics in order to improve their strengths and
capabilities. Members of such firm have to frame various types of plans or strategies and try to
implement them in order to attain their target and maintain performance in international market.
For the same purpose they have to reasonable steps and try to fulfil requirement of people who
participate in London Olympic.
