Question one
A passenger’s confidence is actually a belief that the passengers can rely on somebody or
information relating to a given problem that made them have fear. It is important for the
passengers to have confidence especially after the explosion that caused so many lives as this
will help them to gain trust and use the same means of transport again.
To restore confidence among the passengers, several activities need to be undertaken
which may include employing more uniformed security officers who are fully armed with
appropriate requirements1. This is seen as an important activity since once a passenger or
whoever was affected on the explosion sees this security personnel around, they are definitely
assured of their security as this boosts their confidence2.
Several checkpoints should be put in place for proper scrutiny of the passengers and the
buses. This will definitely boost the confidence of both the passengers and the people around,
since before and even after the journey, all the checkpoints will very busy with the busses and
people who want and have traveled will be in and out of the checkpoints for proper scrutiny, by
this, the passengers will be assured of their security3.
Lastly, most of the affected passengers may be highly traumatized because of the
explosion and others were also got into the accident because of the panic they had. So in order to
gain more confidence in such kinds of people, the company should offer free and proper
counseling from professionals and expertise as this will boost the passengers’ confidence.
Question two
It is still safe to travel with the London buses and tubes even after the explosion since this
explosion was like an eye-opener. This made the company be more vigilant and alert and even
resilient on such attacks and maters of security in general. Various safety strategies were put in
place to ensure that such attacks are minimized and also the passengers were assured of their
security as this will make them feel at ease to board the London and tubes again.
Terror attacks can happen anywhere, so the passengers are not supposed to be scared by
not using these buses again and instead should feel free and safe to do so since it was not the

company's mistake for the attack or the explosion to take place. Again the company should not
be mistaken for such explosions since it was an external attack which they did not have any
control over, so this should be understood by the passengers since terrorist do not only attack the
buses or specific companies means of transport but can also attack even individuals in
gatherings, walking on streets or anywhere, and even if the passengers who were affected did not
use the busses they could have still been attacked anywhere since the terrorists are not
predictable and can attack anywhere of their target4. With this knowledge, the passengers should
not panic and not feel safe by not using such buses and tubes.
