L’Oreal S.A. is a dominant French personal care company, headquartered in Clichy,
Hauts-de-Seine and also with a registered office in Paris. It includes both men and women
health, skin and body care products and is the dominant and largest cosmetics company of the
world. Founded in 1909, the company has seen and been through all kinds of social, political
and economic changes and situations and is coming up with innovations and newer
approaches to grasp the current market. Moreover, they also have a different segment of
experimenting and inventing newer cosmetic products. Another of their unique approach is to
address to the needs and varieties in the developing countries.
Problem Statement:
The aim of the paper is to understand and evaluate the strategies taken by the
company to address the developing countries and also to understand the emerging markets
availavle and accessible to the organisation.

Data Collection Method:
To conduct the research, both Qualitative and Quantitative data collection method.
Qualitative Data Collection: This includes review of the economic policies and the
strategies of the company taken over time and also the opinions of the administrative
department of the company (Fekete et al. 2015).
Quantitative Data Collection: This will include the structured interview processes that are
to be undergone with the employees and the management teams (Mackey and Gass.
2015).
Data Analysis Method:
Data Analysis method refers to the techniques of inspecting, evaluating and modelling
of the collected data with the aim to support the decision making that will prove to be
useful and helpful for the analysis of the proposed objectives. For the purpose, both the
Qualitative and the Quantitative data analysis method will be used. The Qualitative data
analysis method will include the understanding, evaluating and remodelling and
explaining the collected data in accordance with the requirements of the study adhering to
the proper justification of the objectives (Taylor., Bogdan and DeVault. 2015). The
Quantitative data analysis method will include the statistical analysis of the collected data
and the proper explanation of the analysis in accordance to the proposed objectives (Flick.
