What are some of the implications concerning the meaning of behavior (for example "the
concept Love")?
Love is not a specific thing, it is a combination of many different emotions such as care,
concern, sympathy, protectiveness, etc. The love of a person for his mother is different than that
of a friend and so on. The famous theorist Sternberg gave a triangular theory of love called the
factor analysis model (The Psychology of Love, 2010). The three basic elements of this model
are-
Passion: it is more about physical attraction
Intimacy: the level of trust and closeness.
Commitment- the choice of being in a relationship.

The element of passion is not permanent, it can come and go. The concept of love is
about helping another person grow and become a better version of themselves. In other words, a
loving relationship should make the people in love positive and focused. Love exists when a
person feels responsible for another and thinks about their welfare. It is more about respecting
each other (The Psychology of Love, 2010). The concept of love is not just about an individual,
rather it is about “we” together. The three elements of love are equally important for any
relationship among many others. Understanding one another is crucial for a successful
relationship.
