An organization main aim is to fill the gap of achievement and encourages colleges and
universities to report the gap between the low income and the high-income students. This
research paper is exploring the use of support principles, that are used in facilitating the
achievement of student in the public schools for the low-level income students. This study is an
investigation on the principal’s position,by focusing on the five areas of leadership.The areas
which are used are focused instruction,shared leadership,professional community,trust in the
principal and the instructional leadership.
The study is conducted on the six low-income elementary schools in which three schools are low
performing schools, and the three schools won the national recognition for the achievement of a
gap.This study,is intended to find the answers in terms of achievement of the three schools that
were low performing. In this study, a survey was conducted on 158 teachers among the six
schools, among which the response will be taken from the 120 teachers.
The findings of the research study that will be done for determining the achievement level on the
part of principal leadership is that the respondents strongly agreed that the support of principal is
very essential in terms of attaining the achievement level, as the principals support is more in the
high performing schools, in comparison to the low performing schools. The confidence level of
teachers of the high performing school is comparatively higher because of principals strong
vision, in terms of professional learning.
