The business organisation working in the marketplace is having large
employee force which help in increasing the productivity and the
performance within the company. Business organisations have
various different departments who are having professionals which
help the business in obtaining its desire results. With the use of
effective marketing the business organisation would able to attract
large number of potential customers. Moreover the different
departments within business helps in formulating effective strategies
by working together and focus is to improve the performance of the
business in the marketplace.
The marketing department play important role in the company as
they are responsible to engage and attract targeted customers. The
role and relationship of marketing department with other
departments are as follow-
Marketing and production department- The contribution of
the marketing department is major in the success of the organisation
as they are providing the accurate information to the production
department regarding the number of products to be designed and
produced on the bases of the market survey. The interrelationship
between marketing and production department is that they help the
organisation in producing quality products and also help in reducing
the extra cost.
Marketing and finance department- The finance department is
responsible to build and develop the effective budget in order to help
the business organisation in accomplishing its desire goals and
objectives. The marketing department is the one which has more
requirement of the fund as promotions and advertising involve high
cost. Hence marketing department helps finance department in making
the effective budget where less expenses are incurred.
Marketing and sales department- The marketing and sales
department work hand in hand that is marketing department helps sales
department how to treat the customers in most effective manner. The
marketing department will analyse the needs of the customers. The
sales department will increase the needs of customers of the
organisation.

employees and hence company require the human resource department
to handle them in effective manner. The human resource department is
responsible to motivate employees so that they would be able to
improve their performance. The marketing department helps the human
resource department by providing the list of requirements on the bases
of skills and abilities so that they would able to improve its
performance in the marketplace.
