INTRODUCTION
Higher education is provides a lot of opportunities to the students for their career growth.
It is important for the students to choose wisely so that they can make their career in the field
that attracts them. Education plays a major role in the lives of individual and are for the benefit
of not only the student but their family and society as a whole (Jackson., 2019). It is important
for the society to have educated people as their will be low crime rates, better overall health and
their will be civic involvement of people. Education can change the lives of individual and will
also provide them the opportunity to become skilled and earn a stable lifestyle.

It is important for students to develop necessary skills which can help them in their career
and can also make them skilled as well as talented. The students after developing these skills will
become a valuable asset for the company and in order to retain these assets the company will
make efforts.
Technology skills: In today's world technology is everywhere and it is important for the
students to make sure that they acquire technological skills in digital era. Organisation are trying
to be digitally strong so that they can take full advantage of technology and science. It can help
the organisation in saving time as well as cost (Murtonen and Balloo eds., 2019). The skill which
can help the company in becoming digitally strong are high in demand. University are slightly
behind in teaching effective technological skills to their students however students must make
sure that they are possessing and are polishing their technological skills so they can increase the
chances of their employment. For example, marketing teams are highly focussing on digital
marketing as it helps the company in reaching out the a wider audience and in low cost as well. It
is important for the organisation to have tech savvy employees which can handle the technology
of the organisation.
Creativity and innovation skills: It refers to the skills which can help the organisation in
collecting new ideas from the employees. It helps the organisation in having a new thinking
regarding the tasks of the company and will also help the company in making their processes
more effective and efficient (Nisha and Rajasekaran., 2018). The organisations nowadays look

for employees which are more creative so that they can give ideas to the company and can also
include workings which are according to the market trends. Creativity skills enhances the
problem solving skills of the employees as they are able to easily find ways in which they can
complete the tasks of the company.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills: It is important for a students to develop
critical thinking and problem solving skills as nowadays, employers look for employees who can
solve their problems effectively and on their own (Munir and et. al., 2018). They don't want
employees who cannot handle dynamic situations and are always looking for superiors whenever
they are in a dynamic situation. Critical thinking helps the employees in solving problem and
will also provide new ideas to the organisation. The organisation needs employees who can work
effectively in continuously changing situations and can handle the workings of the department.
They do not require constant supervision and can take decisions on their own.
Communication skills: Another major skills that is an essential skills for organisation s
nowadays is communication skills. It is important for the organisation to make sure that there is
effective communication going on in the organisation and there is no situation of
misunderstanding in the organisation (Londgren and et. al., 2021). Misunderstanding will create
ruckus in the organisation which will hinder the growth of the company and can also create a
negative environment bin the organisation. It is important for the organisation to make sure that
there is proper communication is flowing in the organisation so that quick decision making can
be made. It is important for the organisation to have a clear communication channel through
which important information can reach to the employees as and when required.
Adaptive skills: It refers to the skills which helps the students in adapting the new
changes that are occurring in the market. As the market nowadays are constantly changing which
makes it compulsory for the companies to change according to the trends. In order to have
growth in the market it is important for the organisation to adopt changes (Shen and Ho., 2020).
Adaptive students will analyse the change quickly and will also work in that area. They will
make sure that they are continuously moving towards making innovation and will also make sure
that quick decisions as they will be able to learn new things quickly and will be able to adapt
new environment faster. If students develop adaptable skills in university it will also help them in
their studies and will make sure that student is learning quickly.

to become a skilled personal. Along with these skills it is important for students to have
curiosity. Curiosity will help students in learning new things and in collecting in depth
information about the skills that they want to develop.

impression it is important for students to upgrade their CV's. In order to do so, recommendations
are given below which can enhance the resume of students and can also make them an eligible
candidate.
Write for student newspaper or own blog: In order to improve resume, writing for
student newspaper or blog can help the student in enhancing knowledge and will also help them
in exploring new ideas which can increase their creativity skills (Kardipah and Wibawa., 2018).
It is an extremely good option specially for students who want to make their career in journalism.
It will help students in gaining practical knowledge and and will also provide the experience.
Join the student union: In order to improve the leadership qualities, joining student
union can really help students in their career as it will create a good impact on the employers.
Employers nowadays like candidates who can take charge instead of sitting around and just
waiting for someone who can provide solution or instructions. Taking a lead role can really help
students in enhancing their personality as well as their resume.
Participate in volunteer work: Volunteering work will not only help the student in
having a rewarding experience but will also help them in improving their CV's (Daniel and
Almeida., 2020). It reflects the care that employee have in order to improve the lives of others.
Involving n a volunteering work will help the student in gaining experiences and will also help
them in developing empathy which is extremely important in today's workplaces.
Find a part time job and try to learn new things: in order to improve the resume and
in order to gain actual experiences, it is important for the students to do some part time job. It
will not only make them financially independent but will also enhance their knowledge (Barr.,
2019). It is important for the student to develop field knowledge so that they can understand the
workings of the corporate organisations clearly. It will showcase the capability of students of

juggling things and also a strong work ethics which is important in a workplace. It will help the
students in proving their employers that they are committed towards their work and to the career
path chosen by them.
Be active on social media: Social media is a powerful platform which can not only help
the students in making network but will also help them in grabbing opportunities. It will help the
employer in getting an insights about the interests and skills of students (Bowman and et. al.,
2019). Networking is considered to be the most powerful tool which can help the student in
gaining knowledge and will also help them in connecting with industry experts. They will
provide them in depth knowledge and will also guide them. Social media network can also
enhance the skills of individual and provide them job opportunities as nowadays most of the
companies re using the platform to attract employees and talent in their organisation.

From the above report, it is concluded that education plays major role in the career and
future of students. In order to have a good future, it is important for the students to develop their
