The client is related to Harpreet Kaur on behalf of Mohsin Riaz who is the Dean of LSST Aston
Birmingham Campus. There are different types of problems which are facing by client in
order to increases the product line in the college also it has been analysed that the
organisation expected to provide high level of professional courses so that there are large
number of students will come and join the campus (D’Alimonte, De Sio and Franklin,
2020). Also, LSST is one of the biggest college of London and there are large number of
students are joined the college in the all department but because of pandemic the
admission are decline and that is why dean has decided to offer more courses such ass
ACCA and CIMA but the problem is related to not having good resources the resources
are related to human resources because the college don’t have enough faculty which are
teach for further professional courses. Further, it has been analysed that there are some of
the new entrants have joined the market and increases the competition which are also
related to the big problem facing by the client (Gough-Kelly, Calamida and Sahu, 2022).
That is why they are deciding to offer only those diploma or degrees which are not offered by the
competitors so that it can help to increases the productivity of the organisation as well as

it will going to increases the product line of the campus. To hire new faculty or start new
courses it is important hire human resource team so that they can get all the related
information and hire the staff accordingly (Hložek, Galbany and Jha, 2020). But at the
same time, it has been analysed that there is high investment needed for hiring HR team
and train them accordingly. It is important to recruit those staff who are experienced in
their own field and able to maintains the work accordingly and increases the productivity.
Using research, break the problem down by critically analysing and presenting areas of
importance to the client such as, competitors, target customer market and influencing
factors from the external environment
There are some of the external environment which are affect the organisations such as following
factors:
Competitors- There are large number of competitors in UK which are offer similar courses
such as transactor global solution limited and obsidian security limited. It has affect the brand
image of the company as well as the firm chosen those project which are not offered by any other
companies because with the existing courses the sales are decline (Korytov, Bahmanyar and
Chang, 2019). Also, competitors are increasing day by day that affect the firm negatively. It is
also possible that there are some of the organisations who can copy the idea. On the other hand,
competitors are motivated in order to grow the product line.
Target customer market- The target market for LSST are students who has just completed their
secondary education and have keen interest in management so this opportunity will be working
well also there are large number of students who are wants to join professional courses but there
is very less option in the London. There are large number of students are come to UK for further
studies and it helps to get more professional knowledge. It has been analysed that because of the
cost of the courses people are getting tensed and not expected to join. On the other hand, due to
pandemic there are online facilities for classes so that students can join the classes from home.
Influencing factors- There are some of the factors with are affecting the external environment in
such a way there are some of the global factors that are need to keep on the track (Möller,
Hernandez and Hrivnac, 2021). It has been analysed that there are some of the social issues
which are faced by the organisation because affect the culture, economic status because there are

that are related to cultural factor because large number of students have joined outside the
country and faced the problems.
Demographic factors- It has included all the factors which are related to the gender, age, race,
marital status, income, occupation etc. There are so many employees who are facing the issues
related to age and race (Musselin, 2018). Also, people have perception related to differences for
race and cast because in UK there are people who are influence the other students.
It has been critically analysed that there is biggest issue face by LSST is competition and
because of this some of the situation. There are large number of competitors are increases and
due to this organisation has decided to get better opportunities of offering new and professional
courses.
From your above analysis, what are the top three issues the client is facing?
The top three issues faced by the client are related to the human resource recruiting, legal and
regulatory or competitors. All these issues are influencing the organisation in a negatives way
that is why the firm decided to offer new courses related to ACCA and CIMA so that it helps to
increases the number of students in the organisation.
Human resources management- This issue is related to hire new staff in order to
provide good level of education, the dean expected to hire who are experienced in the field of
ACCA and CIMA because in the near by location there are some of the colleges which are
offering same courses also the brand image of the organisation is good in the market but due to
constant product line it has affected. Also, for hiring new staff there are large investment needed
and firm not able to create money accordingly. The demand for income expectation is high in
UK and at the initial period there are less chance of spending money on new product line.
Further, to the existing staff there are need for providing training so that they can improve the
skills of teaching.
Competitors- There are large number of competitors in UK, this is the major problem
which are facing by the company so now the campus decided to provided professional degree.
Some of the competitors can copy the idea so it needs to provide high quality of services so that
it helps to attract the customers as well as it helps to improve the brand image of the firm.
Competitors are affecting the market because it has attracted the students by providing low cost
of the product and services (Ntampaka, Finkbeiner and Genel, 2019). There are some of major

problem which are faced due to many reasons such as pandemic in this competitor are offering
large number of courses.
Legal and regulatory- This issue is related to follow all the rules and regulation which
are need to consider by colleges such as all the students records, safety, copyright etc. Also, there
are some of the issues that are mandatory to follow by the company (Yan, Zhao and Lu, 2018).
There are the laws related to pandemic only 50% of students can join the college because of
social distance. So, it is important to tolerate all the related laws. Further, students who are not
belongs to UK has faced some of regulatory issues.
CONCLUSION
The report concluded about LSST that is one of the biggest colleges of the UK and there
are several campuses in London with offering different types of courses. There are more than
4000 students have joined the college but at the same time the income has decreases due to some
problems which are facing by college. There are three major issues faced by college such as
competitor, hiring new staff for increases product line and legal and regulatory issue. Further,
discussed about some of the external factor that’s are facings by clients which are related to
government bodies, competitors, target customer market, influencing factors etc. From all the
factor the major is competitor because it has affected by decreases the revenue.
