INTRODUCTION
Business consulting and client management is an activity of providing necessary
consultations to clients for resolving their issues in an efficient manner. It is analyzed that in
current time, there are a lot of issues are faced by educational institutions of UK. So, there is
requirement to provide proper consultation to institutions so that they can resolve the issue in
significant manner (Chong, 2018). In the present report, LSST College is taken as a client. It is a
well known college of science and technology within London. The report includes issues faced

which was started in 2003 by Syed Zaidi. Main vision before starting this college is to support

2020). In present time, there are some issues being faced by LSST college which are mentioned
below:
 The major issue is related with the technology as due to COVID 19 learning has been
shifted completely to the online platform. Here, LSST college faces a lot of difficulties in
maintaining the efficiency of technical platforms for providing timely services to
learners.
 In context of LSST College, they are also facing issues in terms of changes in current
government policies due to Brexit which has been affected recruitment of teachers and
subsidies provide to educational institutes by government.
 It is analyzed that competition within educational industry is also increasing which is a
threat for LSST College. It is stated that lower number of admissions might hamper the
existing image of institute at global market place.

ineffectiveness and does corps of 0.9 is affecting the functioning of different sectors includes
various educational institutions also. The present covid-19 situation has also affected the

physical aspects of United Kingdom. There is high amount of unemployment and over or
economic damages in the transition period in year 2020.
Social factors: The covid 19 situation has resulted into difficulty in the overall
functioning of educational institutions. The issues of social distancing and virtual learning have
created a lot of barriers in effective learning process. Educational institutions are suffering from
challenges to deal with the changing requirement of external environment (Perera, 2017). There
is need to create a balance between diverse nature of students, effective learning process along
with implications for future in LSST.
Technological factors: The covid 19 situation has created the need for more
technological advancements. Such as there are issues face by some of the students that is
because of no proper technological friendly nature of virtual learning process. There is also
difficulty in dealing with the training or guidance that is required to provide students in LSST
because of shortage of competent and skilled workforce.
Legal factors: There are certain legal laws that are constantly changing it is leading to
difficulty and having adequate compliance measures for all the different types of legal and
employment laws that is affecting LSST in long run (London school of science and technology,
2021).
Environment factors: LSST is educational institution that is focused on developing a
teaching and learning environment by focusing on both professional and academic skills of
students. They are affected by the changing nature of environmental requirement and for this
they have created a scenario of affordability where are the fees that is paid at the institution is

It is assessed with above discussion that business consulting is a great concept which is
concern with providing best possible solution to clients. It is stated that LSST college is facing a
lot of issues due to emergence of pandemic. Discussion has been carried out about industry

discussed in the report which will further provide guidance in preparing strategies. Moreover,

Recommendations
 There is requirement to analyze the current industry performance and prepare effective
strategies for meeting with requirements of educational institutions in an effective
manner.
 The other recommendation is adoption of technological advancements due to increasing
demand of online learning. Now, students give more preference to online education rather
class room session. So, respective institution is required to make changes in current
technology so that they can provide better education and learning opportunities to
students.
 It is suggested to apply digital marketing practices for getting more number of admissions
which will significantly improve the reputation of college in significant manner.
