INTRODUCTION
Business consulting refers to the group of professionals that observes the issues of the
clients and provides them the set of solutions (Pruthi, 2021. This report will illustrate the issues
of the two clients and those are London school of science and technology and Fairfield school of
business. Along with this, the report will conduct the analysis of the competitors, targeted
customers and external environment in relation of the client issues.
MAIN BODY
Client 1: LSST and the issue of the client
The London school of science and technology has the four campus. The college has
approximately 4000 students. The organization is ensuring the courses related to the business and
management, health and social care & related to IT. (Dittmar, 2019). The organization has a keen
focus over providing the vocational education and insisting students to enhance their learning.
The major issue of the client is that currently, the college is focusing on changing their academic
course. And therefore, the qualified staff which is consists of professionals is needed. The HR
manager of the organization is the client who is facing problem in recruiting the staff.
Targeted audience
The targeted audience of the client is the students that wants to increase their academic
values and focusing on experiencing the effective teaching. The LSST has targeted those
students who are highly focused about studies (Patterson, Griffin and Hanson, 2018). They have
selected the behavioral segmentation in order to determine their targeted audience. As the
behavioral segment includes those students who are concerned with the habit of focusing over
studies and experiencing education in effective terms.
Market
In terms of capturing the market share the focus of the client is on the professionals that
are needed in order to handle the changing courses in the organization. As the LSST is planning
to change the portfolio. Therefore, the organization need to make a focus over the qualified staff
so, they can teach the courses to the students. The HR of the LSST is focusing over the capturing
the market base full of qualified staff with the help of digital marketing.

Competition analysis
It has been found from various studies that currently, LSST is one of the leading organization
that runs their business in the market in effective manner. And even the college is using the
strategies of curriculum development which is enabling them to make superior from their
competitors. But, there is a threat to the organization for future in terms of hiring the staff
(Musselin, 2018). As the competitors has already adopted the effective hiring strategies. This
may further leads to create the threat for the organization.
External analysation
Here are the external factors that affects the LSST:
Political- The political factors determines the fluctuation in the policies of the government that
affects the organization. LSST comes under the educational department. The government puts
major focus over the education centres. And takes large number of decision for them. For
example: Policies related to using fair teaching and learning techniques has to be assure by the
college. Otherwise, it impacts the organization. The courses that has been designed by the
educational ministers has to be used by the college.
Economic-This refers to the economic factors that affects the school. The decision of the state
and central government regarding the funding can affect the LSST. Also, the college is planning
to hire skilled staff. Therefore, the college has to perform all the activities of teaching led
interventions. Otherwise, it leads to bear up heavy penalties.
Social- The social factors are related to the customers. The customers for the LSST are the
students and their parents. Change in the demand of the students regarding the courses and
learning preferences can highly impact the college. Therefore, the college is planning to
introduce new courses (TRETYAK and ET.AL., 2019). Maybe there is a possibility that students
find these courses difficult. Thus, there is a requirement for appointing the skilled and qualified
professionals that can make learning easy and effective for the students.
Technological- LSST uses the effective technology in terms of assuring the education to the
students. Any change in the technology can lead to create the risk for the college. Highly
professionals are needed in order to maintain the technology and assuring the effective use of the
technology.

Issue related to recruiting and selecting, As the organization is changing their course
therefore, they need qualified staff. But, from the analysation it has been found that it is
hard to approach the professionals as this gets affected by many factors.
Changing demand of audience, from the analysation of social factors it has been found
that the students and their parents are highly focused about the courses that are adopted
by the college. In case, the targeted customers did not like the new portfolio then there is
the high risk for the LSST.
From analysing the competition, it has been evaluated that the competitors has already
adopted the effective hiring strategies. This may act as a barrier in the hiring process of
the LSST.
Client 2: FSB and the issue of the client
The fairfield school of business is one of the community based college located in the
Croydon. The organization focus on providing the effective learning to the students. The school
has adopted the teaching intervention techniques in order to ensure the effective learning to the
students (Cavico and Mujtaba, 2018. The dean of the school found that currently, the education
organizations are introducing new courses and the competition is increasing on a higher note.
Increasing threat of the new entrants in the market is affecting the teaching-learning environment
of the school is one of the biggest issue that is facing by the organization. It further affecting the
marketing strategies of the school.
Targeted audience
The targeted audience of the FSB are those students who wants the opportunities of
learning and does not getting the opportunities of learning. Therefore, the FSB is targeting such
students that found difficulties in learning and wants the different kind of learning patterns.

Competition analysis
As FSB is the small organization. Thus, the school has to deal equally with the small and
large organizations. In this case of client there is a huge competition (O'Neil and Richards,
2018). As there are large number of educational centres that are focusing over the increasing the
learning opportunities for the students. Therefore, there is a high threat of competency for FSB
and effective strategies are required in order to face the completion.
External analysation
Here are the external factors that affects the FSB:
Political- The policies of learning that includes adopting the fair learning techniques is a threat to
the FSB. As providing opportunities comes up with large number of responsibilities.
Economic- The government has determined specific funding policy for the small organization
that adopts the curriculum development practices. If the budget exceeds more than the
availability of fund then it creates threat to the organisation.
Social- The students and parents highly impacts from the type of vocational learning that has
been adopted by the school (Aggerholm, Standal and Hordvik, 2018). Any change in the demand
of the students and their parents can lead to provide the heavy impact over the FSB.
Technology- FSB is a small organization and it has adopted the concept of providing the
vocational education to the students. There is numerous threat to the school that included, high
budget, skilled staff, risk of technology failure and so on.
Top three issues along with the justification
High competition in the market is the first issues. As the organization wants to adopt the
vocational education. But, already there are many schools that has adopted this and
further focusing on adding effectiveness on it.
High budget is the second issue. As the new learning opportunities involves the new
technology and this leads to high budget ( LEYVA and ET.AL., 2018). The marketing strategies of the organization is highly getting affected by their
competitors as the competitors are introducing the new portfolio as well along with
ensuring the effective learning.
