Work-based learning is an informative strategy which allows students to engage in real-
life work experiences where they can utilise their academic and technical skills and enhance their
abilities of getting employment. It is the practice of applying theory with practice which
acknowledges the integration of school or university curriculum with a workplace to provide a
different learning model. The organisation that is chosen to conduct this study is Arabica
Borough Market, a middle eastern restaurant situated in London, United Kingdom. In this
