INTRODUCTION
Academic skills includes various type of skills like presentations, academic writing,
critical thinking and many more. In context with our studies, it involves online learning, effective
time management, employability in terms of maths and statistics(Rose and et.al,2020). There are
many strengths that comes under the criteria of academics like knowledge, talents and through
this individuals gets stabled in a learning environment. The below report includes CRAAP test
and how it is been used in studies and it also includes Be brilliant tab and how it is used in
studies.
MAIN BODY
CRAAP Test and its uses in studies
It is considered as a test which is used in checking out the reliability of all kind of sources
in terms of academic disciplines. It involve five elements and these are Currency, Relevance,
Authority, Accuracy and its purpose. This type of test is necessary because it provides a
complete list which includes different questions in order to ask yourself to decide that whether
the selected source is effective that it can be used which doing academic research. The elements
are been explained as below:- Currency: - It refers to the timeliness of all resources. It involves the detail of when
information was posted, whether it got updated, importance of recent data or the past data
will be relevant and all sites are working or not. Relevance: - It defines the value of collected information. It involve that whether
gathered information is relevant to specific research, all sources are reliable or not and
will the source increase the reputation or not(McCormick and et.al,2020). Authority: - It determines all the data related to the source. It asks questions like who is
the author, is the source can be trusted or not, will it be easy to find out all information
about the author. Accuracy: - It is in relation with reliableness of all gathered resources. The information
which is been asked is like from where data is collected, is information is supported by
right evidence and many more. Purpose:- It defines the reason behind collected information. The questions which are
been asked are like what is the purpose behind collecting data.

CRAAP test is useful in studies because it becomes easier for students to analyse their
gathered sources that whether they can trust them or not. By evaluating all resources as well as
collected data a student and a researcher can easily decrease all unreliable information which
helps them in their studies. Students collect as many information as they can but it not that each
collected information will be useful and reliable to them so through this test they easily analyse
it(Rasheed and et.al, 2020).
Be brilliant tab available at LTU library website and how it will be used in studies
Be brilliant is defined as a part of library webpage in which people can find out a
collection of different resources which helps in enhancing all academic skills. LTU library stands
for Leeds trinity university. In this webpage, people will find out efficient tutorials, different
videos as well as PDFs which is necessary and helps people in improving their skills to search,
analyse and referencing data(De Bruijn and et.al, 2020).
Uses: -
It is useful in studies because students can find out everything on as well as off campus
through which they can access at any point of time and at any location. It also helps in increasing
confidence which is the most important thing in studies.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that both be brilliant tab and CRAAP test is useful
in studies which helps students in analysing all collected data effectively. Individuals can easily
evaluate each question through test and with the help of Be brilliant tab their confidence also gets
increased.
