Perth's Lucent Pharma: Network Security Analysis and Proposed Design

This project analyzes the network security of Lucent Pharma, a pharmaceutical firm in Perth. It begins with an executive summary, followed by an introduction and background on network security. Part 1 focuses on network design, including identifying vulnerabilities in the current topology and proposing security improvements using devices like firewalls and IDS/IPS. The project covers firewall and IDS/IPS policies, and proposes additional security measures. Part 2 involves hands-on work with Kali Linux and Wireshark, including network scanning with Nmap, traffic analysis, and filter application. The project includes tables summarizing scanning commands, IP addresses, ports, and web server details, and explains the differences between capture and display filters.
