INTRODUCTION
Each and every organization need the changes as organisational changes are
very important as well as effective for the system of business. Where the managers and
leaders play an vital role in business which focuses on attaining the focuses on
increasing their followers effectively with the help of using the effective approaches as
well as the strategies in their organization. As in the management, leadership play an
important role in operations and function of business as it takes the effective and
profitable decisions for the organization (Alvesson and Sveningsson, 2015) .
In this report the company selected is Lycamobile and his competitor Talk Talk
Group. Along with this , the changes are also essential part for each and every business
which helps in running the business operation smoothly and effectively. In order to
change the current situation of the organization, the leaders are very important who has
the abilities and capabilities to take proper decisions which helps in making the
business environment better and profitable. It also includes different changing behaviour
of individual & the leadership with their barriers which effects on leadership on making
the effective decision making. Lastly the assignments considers the different
approaches of the leadership in a effective way.
TASK 1
P1. Comparison of various changes on an organization's strategy and operations.
Every business need to be up to date as the change leads to be very effective and
profitable for business. There are many platform in the organization by which the
management can make the modification, alteration and changes in their organization
strategies(Anderson, 2016).
The Lycamobile company is an mobile virtual network operator, which is dealing
in 22 countries like Austria, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland,
Italy, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa,
Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the USA. It is
introduces in 2005 and trading take place in September 2006 by Allirajah Subaskaran.
The company Lycamobile is a telecom service provider which provides low-cost and
high-quality international calls to their customers. It sells international pay-as-yoy-go

SIM cards to their customers who are willing to make call internationally.
On the other hand, If it is talked about the other company Talk Talk Group is a
public limited which deals in telecommunication industry and started in February 2003, a
16 years ago by Sir Charles Dunstone. Its headquarter is in London, UK. As its key
products are Fixed line and mobile telephone, internet services, digital televisions
services to business ans customers in the united kingdom (Aslan, and Reigeluth,
2013) .
Technological Change: The management of Talk Talk Group company is now
adopting the technological change in their product as they are planning to introduce 6G
network for its users. As it result in very beneficial and profitable for the organization as
well as the customers. As it a fastest network in the country. On the other hand it is talk
about the Lycamobile is not adopting any changes as it only focuses on providing the
services in low cost with high quality services as the management of this company
thinks that low cost service can attracts the customers effectively and it also increases
the profit of the company. But the up gradation of technology is needed in the each and
every business organization for sustain in effective and profitable market.
Structural Change: In order to increase the overall sales revenue, the
management of the Talk Talk group should focuses on expanding their business in other
company such as US and France. Also am9img of opening the 100 stores in the current
country which helps in increasing the sales. And they are also using the effective
hierarchical structure in their organization for effective functioning and operation done in
the business organization. If it is talked about the Lycamobile, it is already dealing in 22
countries as it also has effective expansion of business. As the management also
focusing on changing the organization structure which is very beneficial for the
organization as well as the employees(Azanza and et. al., 2013) .

The changes are effective and important for the business organization. As the
changes can be profitable and positive in nature for the company, A drivers of change is

an internal or external force which shapes & affects the business organization's. But
sometimes the change also become negative for the company, for this the management
should take the effective measures to resolve them.
Internal factors and their impact.
The changes in internal factors are High wastages, poor delivery, financial
management, organisational culture, mission & vision, competition, employee moral,
organisation culture, technology capacity, principles, capabilities of employee,
leadership, supply and demand, customer preference, economic environment,
perceptions, resources, inventions, and many more and some factors are explained in
brief under neath(Blewitt, 2012) .
Mission and Vision: Every organisation are motivated with their leaders, by their
mission and vision. As all the organisation are seeking and organizing to define their
specific as well as desired objectives, missions foe achieving to without and conflict of
day to day pressures.
Organizational culture: The every organization has their own culture, norms,
habits, ethics. As for changing this, the organisation Lycamobile and Talk Talk resist to
change as it slow down the productivity of employees and workers, as it leads to the
less productivity as well as the performance.
External forces and their impact.
The external forced are those factors, or the situation which occurred from the
outside the business organization and they aren't possible and easy to manage. The
external factors are foe changes are economy, capital, political influence, competitors,
technology, customer satisfaction, government, investors and many more/ some of the
factors are described as below.
Technological Change: As per the current scenario, technology is upgrading
day by day. As technology advancements is increasing quickly which affects and helps
the society's, social groups, social environment effectively and efficiently. As the
companies are adopting the proper and effective tool and techniques in their
organization which helps in solving the problems and issues in an effective way(Brown,
2012). Consequently, technological up gradation and advancements is very important
for every business as it helps to company in building the impressive relationship with

their competitor in a effective and efficient manner.
Capital: This factor helps the management of the business organization, in terms
of finance & funds as the changes and modifications are being introduced by the
institutional investors or the consequent modification in the standards of the individual
as well as the company performance (Cullen and et. al., 2014).
Globalization: In context to this factor, the changes occur in the business
organization globally. For achieving the competitive and sustainable advantages form
the profitable market the management of the Lycamobile and Talk Talk company should
focused on the implementation the effective tools and strategies for adopting the
effective changes which helps in gaining and increasing the higher sales and revenue of
the company in a effective and efficient manner. As for profitable condition compare to
the other competitors the management of the company Lycamobile and Talk Talk group
should adopt changes required in their business according to the modern trends of the
country.
As these factors and changes are affecting the management, leaders, members
of team and individual employee’s behaviour. Reason behind this is that the all decision
are taken by the employee as this demotivated the employee’s and also they are
affected by the decision and focussing on changing their mind sets according to the
decision made.
P3. Remedies to minimise negative impact of change on organizational
behaviour.
There are many things that leader can do and adopt for minimising the negative
impact of changes in the behaviour of business organization. The measures are
Creating the culture of learning, Leadership, Mission and strategies, Organization
culture, Employee motivation, Organization structure, Abilities if an individuals, providing
the career transition support, managing the resistance to change, developing the
effective communication strategies, by providing the effective training, implementation of
support system and man6y more (Cummings and Worley, 2014) . The some the the
measures are discussed under neath which are very helpful for the employee as well as
the organization while adopting the change.

Leadership: Leadership approaches and style of leaders influence and
motivates the employees for effective working as it leads to the to effective growth foe
the business organization as leaders can help and support their staff members by
guiding and motivating them. As the company Lycamobile and Talk Talk Group can
adopt the laissez-faire or participate leadership style in their organization which is
beneficial for both employee as well as the company.
External Environment: The operations and function of company Lycamobile and
Talk Talk Group also deals and affects with the external environment which includes
competitor, suppliers, market area, political, social, technological, economical,
environmental and many more factors. The managers of Lycamobile and Talk Talk
company should considers the effect and its important of the external environment of
the organisation which will helps in effective working of the business(Doppelt and Keller,
2012) .
Organization structure: By time to time, the structure of the company has to
changed or updated with the change in technology, restructuring or changing the
organization structure ( line, line & staff,functional, divisional) as this will help in building
the strong and effective relationship. The managers of Lycamobile and Talk Talk Group
should considered and understand the effective profitable changes form the sustain
market which helps in smooth working in the operations of the business organization.
Mission and strategies: Each and every business organization has setted their
own objectives, vision, missions, goals as well as their business strategies which helps
the business in achieving the desired objective and goals with the help of effective
tactics and strategies of the company. The managers of Lycamobile and Talk Talk
company should focuses on developing the effective strategies and implement then in
their business foe achieving the desired goals and for attracting the customers and for
satisfying the customers(Hintz and Bahia, 2012) .
Organization culture: Every organisation has their own cultures , ethics as well
as value which affects the environment of business. The employees of the business
organization should follow the company norms and ethics, culture which helps in
building the effective relationship with employees and the organization as well as
international relations.

P4. Different barriers for change and their impact on leadership decision-making.
Change is an important aspect in each and every business as it focuses on
shifting to the better environment of business organization. The barriers will always build
the gap between the current situation and the recommended situation, although it has a
negative impact on the operation of the organisation(Hrebiniak, 2013).
There are so many failure and barriers to the organizational change such as
limited understanding of effective change, negative attitudes of employee’s, lack of
inefficient communication and commitment, lack of support from the management of the
organization's, inadequate resources or budget, resistance to organisation culture, lack
of employee involvement and effective communication strategy, organization complexity
and many more barriers.
Other particle or experimental barriers in each and every employee or in any of the
business organization can included lack of skills and ability, lack to staff, difficulties in
establishing services, lack or absences of technology or equipments required for the
change, inadequate structure of organisation as well as infrastructure of business
(Huczynski and et. al., 2013) .
Lack of Employee Involvement: In the change management in business
organization , employees are the one of the most important barriers where employees
have lack of involvement in the operations and the functioning of the business
organization. In each and every biggest company, the ample number of employee or the
staff members resist to change, as they do not adopt the change easily as the employee
think & believe that change is a negative approach and it is not beneficial for the
business organization. Along with this the staff has the fear and they think that the
change can replace them from the company. In context to the company, Lycamobile and

Talk Talk Group there are some employees who are responsible and loyal to the
company as these employees are working in the organization from long time which
develop a feeling of attachment and also develops fear about them because they are
not actively involved in the decision making as well as the strategies formulation.
Although, it affects the overall function and the operation of decision making process as
well as the productivity and the performance of the employees and the company at
competitive market(Jones, 2013).
Lack of Effective Communication Strategy: In this present competitive market,
there are numbers of companies available, who do not have to effective communication
strategies in their business organisation. With ineffective communication the manager or
leaders of Lycamobile and Talk Talk Group are unable to communicate effectively with
their employees. The top management of company should focuses on developing and
implement the changes within their organization, so they can adopt the change easily.
Apart from this, the management should focuses proper change and also need to
communicate the every change adopting and implementing in the business by top
management effectively and efficiently.
Organization Complexity: The organization complexity occur when the top
management do not make their process effectively and efficiently. In other words, when
the organization starts to develop the complex process as the developing planning for
changes and implementing the changes in the organization it becomes more complex. It
become the barrier and complexity which includes the typical process and the system,
products and services as it is complex and difficult for the employee of the organization
to understand the change (Kaufman, 2017) .
