INTRODUCTION
Safeguarding refers as a keeping people safe from abuse, harm and neglect. It is important for the people to live their life. According to
care quality commission, protects individual’s health wellbeing, human rights and enables them to live free from the harm, neglect, abuse that is
known as safeguarding. It is a term that contains a wide range of principles and measures that assures basic rights of human being is protected. The
main goal of the safeguarding is to ensure that young adults, vulnerable adults and children can spend their life free from the neglect, abuse and
harm. Most of the healthcare organization puts safeguarding in their practices in term of advise and support, developing policies related to people
safety, guidelines for the behaviour, minimize risk for the children, process for responding to safeguarding concerns etc. through which ensures
patients that none will be abused, harm and neglect in the society. This report will discuss about Mackenzie’s case scenario that takes place under
the safeguarding enquiry form.

There were several alleged victims i.e. neighbour, Mackenzie’s parents who needs immediate safety. For
example, Mackenzie has delusion behaviour after diagnosing paranoid schizophrenia. Due to this, his parents were
always in concern that they might be harmed by him. In that state, support worker Ellie understood his parents that
due to this mental illness he has delusion behaviour and said them to support him instead of neglecting. In other
case, when Mackenzie were got in fight with his neighbour because he was thinking that neighbour has stolen his
parcel, in that situation, support worker Miss Ellie understood the neighbour that he is suffering from delusion
behaviour, so do not harm him. She also made understand to Mackenzie that neighbour was not stealing his parcel
(Querns, 2019). He just received parcel and was going to give you. Thus, support worker immediately safe alleged
victims otherwise they can harm by Mackenzie in his anger. For instance, if support worker was not there then it
can possible physical abuse and neglect situation can take place which could harm alleged victim as well as
