Malala Yousafzai was born on July 12, 1997 at Mingora, Swat, Pakistan. She is the
owner of The Malala Fund. In 2014, she was awarded with noble price for taking a huge step
forward in order to promote the education of the girls all over the world. Currently, she lives in
Birmingham, England, UK. She is a famous activist of female education and former blogger for
BBC Urdu and student. Her nationality is Pakistani and she holds the citizenship of Pakistan .the
most prominent reason behind her popularity is that incident which has happened with her when
she was 10-12 years old. In 2009, while in a bus in Swat District, after giving an exam, Malala
Yousafzai along with two girls was shot by gun by a Taliban gunman in an assassination attempt
in retaliation for her activism. She remained unconscious for so many days in Rawalpindi
Institute of Cardiology, but her treatment took a good rose while she shifted to Queen Elizabeth
Hospital in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
After the incident happened, the girl was airlifted by the military persons in Peshawar.
She is considered as the lady who without any fear fights for the rights and benefits of the girls
in order to make them educated. She also played a great role in reducing the branches of the
terrorism. As on July 12, 2015 on her 18th birthday, she opened a school near the Syrian border
for the refugees of Syrian. In July 2013, as on 16th birthday of Yousafzai, she spoke at the UN to
call for world wide access of education. The bravery and the dedication of the girl helped a lot of
the females to get education and other benefits which are necessary for them in order to lead
their life in an appropriate manner. The nature and the behavior of Malala Yousafzai is very
straight forward and she is very brave since her early age. There are various factors and features
that has made Malala Yousafzai a very successful and prominent leader(Douglas, 2017). Few
leadership tips that she gave to every women are:
TAKE A STAND
Malala Yousafzai, belong to the family where education is considered as the most important part
lives, but when in 2009 the girl was shot by the gunman of the Taliban, forced the school of
Pakistan Swat Valley to close their offerings from the students. There are number of girls who
drop out their education because of the fear and terrorism. Malala Yousafzai was developed as
an imagination which serve as the prominent part in the society in order to give the equal rights
of educations to all the girls, she work as a famous female activist.

In may interviews Malala Yousafzai has mentioned that it is very necessary for her to master the
art of persuasion and it is very essential for her to develop the skills of in acting the stories in a
very efficient manner. She mentioned she spend a lot of hours standing in-front of the mirrors
and practicing speeches in order to work diligently(Khoja-Moolji, 2017).

She is very modest person and never thought about taking any kind of vengeance, with the
persona who attacked her. She always fought for education rights of each and every children and
act as speaker, who motivates and spread the awareness among others regarding the importance
of the education. There are several types of threats that are present for Malala Yousafzai,
because she work against very critical issue of the world(Ryder, 2015).
True and the efficient leaders are the one who work for the welfare of the society and the
members who lives in the society. They are not the one who work for social recognition or status
in the society. Malala Yousafzai always motivates others in order to speak for their rights in the
society and always spread a message to take a stand against the worn deeds of the society. She is
very brave girl who has done a lot for the well fare and the education of the girls in the male
dominating society. There are number of developing countries where education sector is
adversely affected by the leadership practices that are being followed by the higher authorities of
the country. Malala Yousafzai started her fight for the right o the women at very small and
tender age. There are several speeches where she has mentioned that Taliban has took her rights
of the education and shot her along with two girls when she was returning in a bus after giving
an exam. She discussed her life stories and struggles with others in order to pass the message
among the society regarding the rights and the benefits of the individuals.
