AI Summary
This project addresses the BSBMGT502 unit, focusing on managing people's performance within the Coffeeville Cafe simulation. The assignment begins with an overview of the business and its operational goals, followed by an examination of relevant workplace laws such as equal opportunity, workplace health and safety, anti-discrimination, and unfair dismissal. The project then explores the implementation of a performance management system, including setting goals, planning career goals, coaching employees, motivating employees, and conducting performance appraisals. A key component involves creating a job profile for a waiter, developing individual goals and KPIs, and designing a performance management plan. The project culminates in a coaching role-play scenario and reflection questions, assessing the student's performance as a coach and identifying areas for improvement, along with valuable skills learned for effective management.
