ASSESSMENT TASK TWO
Video A
Video B
The key elements that were learned in this video was pertaining to how to have and promote a culture of
high impact and low stress oriented performances in the workplaces. The elements were laying the
groundwork now, preparing for review meeting followed by the right ways of undertaking the review
meeting. Lastly, the importance of avoiding the review traps pertaining to performance was learned as
well. Reviewing the performances twice or one in one is critical. The measurement of the job
specifications, roles and impacts of each employees has to be done differentially for each employee has
different styles of work and contributes differently to the organization. The pay raise should also not be
discussed directly during the meeting. The current set of information about the performances and job
description of the employees should be analyzed for the review (Templeman, Badana and Haley, 2018).
Assessing and reviewing the job performances over a period and then having a direct one-to-one meeting
with each of the employees is an important way of identifying the stressors and then by counseling,
motivational interviewing and listening, the stress can be reduced in the workplace and among the
employees.
The internal support actions will include incorporation of social and interpersonal empathy activities and
exercises. The raise in the pay after assessing the exact contributions of the person to the organization is
important and the review should be justified in the eyes of the employee as well so that he is content, if
not happy but not stressed with the review meeting.
The external support can increase the wellness and the well-being program being given by the counselor
Moreover, outing, recreational events in collaboration with the external resources is important.
There are various trigger that causes stresses in the workplace. Firstly, not getting enough breaks in
between the works hours to relax, eat or to communicate with family or friends or any close from the
workplace leads to various stress issues. Working in the offices when you are ill leads to more high blood
pressure and anxiety issues and spread of infection to others. This cause in elevation in stress levels.
Working with people who lack the interpersonal skills, who has anger management issues and lack prope
communication skills are the third and one of the most critical reasons of stress in the workplace. Other
very critical factors are lack of self control, self determination and adjustment issues with shifting
deadlines. Environmental factors also lead to the causation of stress in the causation of stress in the
subjects and these are poor lighting, background noise, confined spaces that cause more problems than
ever.
After identifying the factors - I will be managing the individual and group stress factors as well be
improving the environmental factors that contribute to reduction of stress and anxiety.
Internal changes shall be addressing the complex behaviors of employees and self management. Staff
training that includesoral communication, problem solving, reading, organizational and
interpersonal skills as decision making, collaboration and emotional management is important.
External changes will be done bydoctors, health psychologists, counselors.

ASSESSMENT TASK TWO
Video C
Video D
As mentioned in the video there are two types of stress, one is positive stress and another is the negative
stress. While positive stress is good for motivation and drives us to work harder and positively. Negative
stresses if not controlled leads to the formation of diseases and mental, physical illnesses which are hard
to recover from. Hence, managing the stress is very important and the three ways are being aware of the
stress, analyzing the nature of the stress and then with the right set of tools and interventions, the stress
can be managed effectively as well. The symptoms such as fatigue, muscle tension, headaches, mood
swings, irritability and sadness leading to social isolation has to be addressed (AnthonyMcMann et al.
2017)
After identifying the exact source such as job insecurity, work pressure, workplace disruption, i will be
using interventions such as moving out of the chaos for a while by taking a break, prioritizing the work,
relaxation through breathing exercises, nutrition, exercise and sleep.
The internal factors are workforce, knowledge resources and external sources are doctors, health
psychologists, counselors.
There are various ways of managing stress at work and these are by spotting the early signs of stress suc
as mood, health and sleep pattern changes, by identifying the stress triggers, by minimizing the chances
uncertainty, by breaking the regular schedule and going out of it such as by taking a holiday, by taking c
of one's own self through food and nutrition plus seep and exercise , by following passions and giving tim
to recreational activities, by talking to others, by managing emotions and levels of expectations, by
thinking positively always and by letting go of what cannot be done.
After identifying the stress factors, it is important that I apply all the above mentioned stress managemen
techniques to control workplace stress.
The internal factors are workforce, knowledge resources and external sources are doctors, health
psychologists, counselors.

ASSESSMENT TASK TWO
Video E
2. Summarise the methods you can apply to organise your workload to reduce stress.
The most important aspect of the video is the section where it identifies stress as a circumstance but
human beings are the force. It is important to realize the three solutions to a stress - are critical. These
includes including one's self completely from the stress, changing the situation and then by accepting th
situation (Eddy et al., 2018)
Then by using the right plans and interventions, the negative elements of stresses can be identified and
can be addressed. I would be doing the same to address the stress at the work place.
Internal changes shall be addressing the complex behaviors of employees and self management. Staff
training that includesoral communication, problem solving, reading, organizational and
interpersonal skills as decision making, collaboration and emotional management is important.
External changes will be done bydoctors, counselors and health psychologists.
The methods are
1. minimizing the chances of uncertainty,
2.by writing down the possibilities and impossibilities
3. by keeping memos, keeping reminders and then by taking enough breaks in the middle.
4. by prioritizing the work
5. by managing emotions and levels of expectations
6. by thinking positively always
7. by letting go of what cannot be done.
