Managerial accounting is defined as to be concerned with provision of information for the
managers which includes individual inside a corporate which is directing and controlling the
operations. While comparing the conventional and evolving management accountant, it can
be said that conventionally the role that has been played by management accountant was of
score keeping, directing and problems solving. Considering the evolution of management
accountant has now considered playing role of business partners along with the role of
information analyst considering the change in time. Management accountant has enable the
organisation to shift from centralised accounting functioning to the partnership with the
business units managers. The role of management accounting has considered being internal
business consultant, hybrid accountant or strategic management consultant (Bruggeman &
Baerdemaeker, 2015).
Management accounting has also found responsible for efficiency in healthcare a service that
is in nursing by providing tools and techniques for financial aspects Considering measuring
and analysis of the resources used with relation to the results or outputs. It can be said that
evolution of management accounting is also quite similar to that in case of nursing as
management accounting role has also reflected in various departments in hospitality like

changing experience, which reflect a good observation, as use of supply chain was linked
with management accounting roles. However some of the additional aspects that could have
been part of the discussion include examples for management accounting role in hospital
organisation, for example benchmarking, budgeting, resource optimisation as cost is also one
of the major aspect in hospital organisation. Other than this, performance management could
also be considered to acknowledge the patient safety and services offered to the patient with
the changing times. Considering the references used in the post, the importance of education
in accounting with relevant to hospital organisation could also have been considered as part
of discussion (Hoffman & Guttendrof, 2017).
