organisation in effective manner (Cameron, and Rössler, 2018). The report summarize about
management structure and business functions which is needed in an organisation. It also describe
about marketing functions and management functions. It further describes about HR and Talent
management.

Organisational structure refers to a system which describe how to direct certain activities
of the organisation effectively in order to achieve goals in effective manner. Management refers
to a process of planning, organising and controlling different functions and resources for
achieving organisational resources (Curuksu, 2018). Management theories are refers to set of
general rules which helps manager in order to manage different functions of the organisation in
effective manner. These theories are classified into three such as classical management theory,
modern management theory and behavioural management theory.
There are different type of organisation structures such as functional, hybrid, matrix and
divisional which is classified according to company's size and their functions. Some of the
organisational structure with their advantages and disadvantages are described below:
Functional structures- This type of organisational structure are used in those company
where employees are divided into different department based on their set skills, goals and
accountability (Diklić, 2018). It provide proper support to the employees for their substantial
specializations. It can increase the costs in organisation, decrease efficiency and create barriers
for completing the task. For example, in Unilever its management use functional structure in
their organisation.
Divisional structures- In this type of organisational structure help companies in order to
achieve their goals by allowing their employees to collaborate and shared organisational
objectives while maintaining their focus on their own goals. It helps them deploy and develop a
new product quickly. It create autonomy and decentralization in the organisation. For example,
McDonald's Corporation, its management use divisional structures in their organisation.

product and services in the market. Human resource recruit, select and train employees for the
company. Accounting is manage all the financial activity of the company. All these functions
