1. Reflection on Case Study 1
In the first case study, it is evident that Jack is not aware that the personal interactions
are creating a big organisational problem for his team mate Sema. I feel that his approaches
like rewarding recognising her work are probably meant as real appreciation for her work. On
the contrary, son sign of botheration has ever been shown from the end of Sema. Being
nicknamed ‘Dot’ or being playfully joked by Jack, exhibitantly never seemed to be an issue
to her.
However, focusing on the progress she has made with her team, it is advisable that
she should react less expressively to the humorous leg-pulls of Jack. Complaining
complacently could put her in the bad book of the team and others in the company as well.
2. Reflection on Case Study 2
Analysis from the provided article reveals that different companies should involve
themselves in different types of CSR activities. This is because of the fact that there are
various diverse factors that drives the CSR activities including industry as well as societal
aspects. Drawing from the article I would like to highlight an instance for making it clear. In
a country which do not have adequate government funding for development of public health,
a company should be indulging in activities related to provision of clean water and proper
sanitation facilities compared to carbon mitigation initiatives.
