Research Methodology
The researcher uses methodology to collect and analyse data. Through this section, the
investigator gains knowledge of the ideologies, strategies, and decisions used to gather
information in a methodical manner (Shaw, 2018). The investigator can successfully accomplish
their goals and objectives with the help of this part. The authenticity and reliability of the
complete research can also be learned by the reader from this portion. A strong chapter in the
research is the one on research methods because it helps the researcher identify and analyse
accurate and relevant data for their topic. This section is also crucial for the researcher's readers
since it clearly explains the kind of data that the researcher will utilise to accomplish her goals
and objectives in a valid and trustworthy manner. The following stages are used to collect
information and the research methodology's subparts are discussed below -
Research philosophy
The two primary groups of research philosophies are interpretivist and positivism . The current
study will follow to the interpretivistim philosophy. The main advantage of this is that qualitative
data will be gathered more freely and effectively as a result. This will help to show the
generalised current trend and pattern of the subject.
Research approach
The purpose of the research approach is to test the ideas in order to properly handle the research
topic. The two research methods for evaluating the formulated hypothesis are deductive and
inductive. To test the prevailing hypothesis in the current investigation, the researcher will use an
inductive technique Trianni and et.al.,2019). This will aid in demonstrating the impact on the
organization's performance.
Research strategy
There are many techniques that can be applied, including surveying, action research, grounded
theory, archival research, interviews, and many more. The researcher will select the interview for
the current study. By linking with data sources, the interview technique's main advantage is that
it makes data collecting simpler. Strategies used for shoeing the direction for the researcher
opinion and idea of collecting information. Survey, systematic literature review, action research,
case study and many more are the kinds of the research strategies used in the investigation.
According to the existing investigation researcher will be selecting interview research as their
strategy. Through this vast data for the topic can be gathered from large population.

Research choice
Quantitative technique and a qualitative approach are the two categories of research
methodology. The researcher chooses a qualitative approach since it makes it simpler to gather
the data for the analysis that follows. Obtaining trustworthy, reproducible data on the research
problem is one advantage of employing this methodology.
Research Instrument
For instance, there are many different types of instruments accessible, such as surveys, tests,
checklists, and many others. Various instruments will be used in the study since it is
advantageous for getting information from the respondents. Additionally, the researcher can
readily gather information related to the research topic by using this specific tool.
Data collection
Primary data gathering and secondary data collection are the two ways to get data. The
researcher chose both of the data collection procedures because they allow for the direct
collection of information from respondents as well as information from other sources like books,
journals, and a wide range of other sources (Turner, 2019). Both approaches are taken into
account in the study.
Data analysis
There are several techniques for analysing data, such as thematic, frequency distribution, and
many others. The researcher measured and assessed the numerical data and information for the
investigation using the thematic distribution. One advantage of using this data analysis is the
capacity to display unstructured data.
Ethical Consideration
Ethics consideration is defined as the process of gathering principles that serve as a roadmap for
the methods and designs employed in research. In accordance with this it is also necessary to
abide by a number of conditions, including anonymity, informed consent, potential for harm,
confidentiality, potential participants, and many more.
Sampling
Sampling is a method for gathering data from a sizable group of pre-selected people. The two
types of sampling techniques are probability sampling and non-probability sampling. It describes
the steps taken to choose the sample from which the necessary data must be gathered. When
Document Page
conducting research, samples are taken from the entire population. The research that follows uses
non-probability sampling(Zwikael, Meredith and Smyrk, 2019).
Potential outcome
As of the above research, it can be evaluated that the term manager refers to the person who
oversees and controls an organization's daily operations. Within an organisation, a manager has a
variety of tasks and responsibilities, including controlling, motivating, managing, leading, and
training the staff to successfully complete the goals. The function of managing every aspect on a
daily basis is referred to as one of the manager's jobs and responsibilities in the context of the
UK retail industry. They are in charge of managing resources, staff, sales, and inventory in retail
locations (Clikeman, 2018). A productive manager boosts the performance and productivity of
the sector. Retail managers are in charge of managing and overseeing the sector's overall
operations. They are in charge of making the industry successful.
Gantt chart
The element of time is necessary for the entire investigation to be completed. Time management
is essential to completing every work and activity without squandering time (Budworth, Harrison
and Chummar, 2019). Therefore, the researcher will use a Gantt chart to help them finish the
entire study on time. It refers to a time-scheduling diagram where the researcher assigns a
specific completion time to each task. The start and finish dates of the entire investigation are
systematically included in this figure. Other important resources needed by researchers include
money, knowledge of reliable sources for the gathering of pertinent data, and many more. The
phrase "Gantt Chart" refers to a tool used in project management to plan out all the tasks that
must be completed by a certain date. To appropriately allocate the resources while working is
another goal. Consequently, the learners will be able to demonstrate the other chores as well as
the connection between the start and completion dates of the assignments (Jehanzeb and
Mohanty, 2018).
