Introduction
The following report is based on the discussion of the Employee engagement, wages
and workforce performance in the workplace. The topic selected is one of the most important
and elementary topics in the globalized business world. The success of the different industries
in the modern world lies on the better engagement of the employees in the organization. The
following proposal has highlighted the problem statement and the aims and objectives of the
study to present a brief picture of the major research. Apart from the above mentioned parts
the study has also provided the methodology and sources of the information for the research.
Problem Statement
The presence of a globalized workforce is the necessity for each and every business
organizations in the modern competitive business environment. According to, Eisenberger,
Malone & Presson (2016) globalized workforce can be key to the success of the business and
can help ensure profitability. However a number of issues has plagued the better engagement
of the people in the business organization. This includes the issues with wage and also the
absence of a proper training in the workplace. The absence of a proper training makes the
employees incompetent in performing in a proper manner. The absence of such a practice
thus leads to the failure of the business (Forde & Slater, 2016). The research will be
addressing this issues and will be providing a feasible solution to the business enterprises to
ensure the presence of a better engagement with the employees.
Research Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the research are a crucial factor that needs to be
considered before the start of the research. The aims and the objectives of the research needs
to be formulated based on the purpose of the study. The aims and objectives of the study in

such a case will be based on the determination of the issues related to the workforce
engagement and then solving them accordingly.
Aims
The aim of the research will be to find out the issues in the effective engagement of
the employees and determine the role of wage and workplace performance in the engagement
of the employees of a business organization. The aim of the research will be achieved through
the formulation of the related objectives.
Objectives
The objectives of the business will include the likes of;
a. To determine the importance of employee engagement
b. To determine the issues of employee engagement
c. To determine the role of wage and employee performance in employee engagement
d. To determine the solution to improve employee engagement in the business
organization
Methodology
The methodology process is one of the most important perspectives of any research.
The methodology process will help to determine the methods and ways by which the research
will address the issues of the employee engagement and the role of the wage and employee
performance in the determination of the employee engagement. The research will include;
a. Literature Review: The literature review process will be based on the objectives of
the research. The review will be completed by collecting the information based on the
secondary researches. The secondary researches will include the likes of the
information from the work of the earlier research articles, journal articles and online
sources.

b. Data Collection: The data collection will be based on the different kinds of the
elementary process that will be carried out to collect the information of the research.
The data will be collected from a number of employees of the organization. The data
collection process is based on the survey research which involves the data collected
from live participants related with the following research. Apart from this the
secondary data will be used to complete the literature review.
c. Survey process: The survey process will involve the live data collection from a
selected range of participants who are involved in different organizations as an
employee.
Sources of Secondary Data
The secondary data will be collected from the research of earlier researchers and the
online journals, websites and articles based on the same subject. The presence of this data
will help the research to gain success and collect genuine data.
Presentation of Data
The data will be presented in the literature review through some points and sub points
whereas the primary data will be presented through the fixed data points that will be collected
from the research participants during the conduction of the primary research.
Data Analysis Methods
The secondary data will be analysed and presented in the literature review while the
primary data will be analysed through the means of SPSS or statistical analysis of the
collected primary information from the different research participants.
