Part 1
Problem situation
I had a former colleague named James who had very different work mentality than me.
He believed in smart work and was able to even cross ethical limits at times in order to gain
success. He was promoted to be in the position of my manager. He expected me to breach ethical
limits at times to gain productivity. I directly told him that I would not be able to provide
performance by disregarding ethical standards. He replied that the standards that were being
breached were not serious in nature and can be disregarded for the sake of the greater good. I
was reluctant to accept his views and very soon a clash started between us. He became abusive
and I also started to make personal remarks on him. We were both called to the senior manager’s
office.

Solutions to the Problem
The problem that has been discussed here clearly represents the unethical work practices
and also forcing someone to embrace different types of the unethical practices to achieve a much
greater success in the professional life. The unethical workplace practices has helped the current
manner to gain a strong position in the organizational hierarchy. The breaching of the different
kinds of the ethical business standards is a highly unwanted task. It is also unethical from the part
of James to lure me to practice different types of unethical practices. Firstly the basic solution to
the following problem is that I have to keep calm and follow ethical practices. However,
informing the higher management about the problems can lead to a strong warning to James
from the part of the management. Secondly I have to keep in touch with the higher management
in order to avoid any kind of vengeance from James in the future. The problem can be solved
through a peaceful negotiation process. However in no terms will I be accepting the practice of
unethical works to make my own performance as well as the performance of the organization
better.
Implementation of the solution
The globalization of the business world has provided a great impact on the different kinds
of the business organizations. The employees as well as the employers of the business

organization are highly professional and are super dynamic in their approach. This has resulted
in a better performance and increase of business productivity. The only solution to the following
problem can be informing about James’s unethical behavior and practice to the higher
management. The management in turn can respond aggressively and can issue a strong warning
to him. The management will at first inform him about the complaint and will ask for a proper
explanation for the same. Apart from listening to his reply, the management will neutrally
investigate the matter. The management can provide James a strong warning to his behavior and
work practices and can monitor him for each and every tasks in the future.

Part 2
Feedback Process
Feedback is one of the most important elements in the success of a task. Both positive as
well as negative feedback is highly important for a task as because it helps the task to gain a
clear understanding of the right path and accordingly follow it. The valuable feedback or the
information helps in gaining a strong information or criticism about the different actions and
accordingly rectify them. The feedback is considered as a pillar to analyze and make important
decisions.
The feedback provided here on the basis of the unethical work practices in office and an
example of the resulting clashes from such kind of practices has been a great source of work. The
example provided here by me has dealt with a real life scenario of the fight of the ethics and
unethical practices in a workplace. The exploration of the alternatives and the capability to
successfully identify the problem has been highly praised by my professor as he has provided a
marks of 6.3375 in both the categories. The high marks clearly demonstrates my ability to be
successful in the following two categories. I was able to clearly understand the different kinds of
the symptoms and their process of easily connecting to the different kinds of the underlying
problems within the workplace. The unethical practice and the success achieved by my colleague
James has been the main issue which I have discussed.
Impact on Proposed Solution from Peer Feedback 1
The positive and a good feedback from the professor has been one of the most important
support for my work and will surely encourage me to find out the major reasons of the existing

problem in the workplace and provide the best solutions to them. The providence of the best
solutions can thus be made by me. The first peer feedback has provided a positive feedback. The
feedback will help me to allow me to consider the problems and then provide the solutions. As
the peer review of the first solution is good, it will be easy for me to gain an idea of the
connections and relationships relating to external stakeholders and corporate social
responsibility. The positive feedback will help me find out the best solutions to ensure safety and
positivity in the workplace.
Impact on Proposed Solution from Peer Feedback 2
The proposed solution will surely have an impact. First of all the solution will help me to
explore the different types of the possible ways to completely get rid of the issues and then
highlight on the issue of problems with James. The peer review feedback provides me with the
confidence to further explore on the case of the practice of the unethical behavior. The solution
will help formulate a number of solutions to address the problems of unethical practice. The
positive feedback from the professor will instill a sense of confidence in me to gain success in
finding the best possible solution. Both of us including James need to stop the issue at the very
beginning. James will be provided a strong reply from my side to completely stop his unethical
behavior.
