1.How managers motivate themselves and the workers within a workplace.
For every successful organization, there must be a manager who is focused and have
stipulated roles that would guarantee the existence of the firm (Lazaroiu,2015 p.23). For a
workplace to be successful managers need to motivate themselves and at the same time
acknowledge the motivation to their workers. Alan Watts expound on some measures which
managers and everyone can uphold to keep performing in different spheres.
Key factors for managers should have to enhance motivation.
There is a need for trust within the workplace. The manager should trust himself and also have
trust in employees. Managers should communicate effectively to workers and in so doing good
relationship is created thus enhancing motivation.
They need consider the reward systems. Every effort input by the human need to be rewarded.
Managers ought to give different types of incentives thus improving the motivation hence
improved production.
Managers need to recognize themselves and also their employees in the organization. By
recognizing all the efforts geared by the workers leads to motivation within a business

to improve their skills. This would cater for motivation and later more production. Also, personal
attitudes such as happiness would determine motivation level for the managers and workers.
Managers ought to understand when workers are satisfied. This measures the motivation level for
employees.
2.Strategies that managers apply personally to attain mastery in management.
There are factors which managers need to poses when it comes to using one’s skills and
abilities in management. Personal mastery to managers basically facilitates discipline
(Anderson,2017 p.32).
Managers should have goals and objectives for the management. Objectives and goals form the
vision for the organization. Managers need to keep the vision for the organization to succeed.
They should be vulnerable to the situations but not seeing situations as the enemy. They have to
know every opportunity occurs after a certain failure. Managers should learn the discipline
needed for them to cope with the changing forces within the organization.
Managers should be highly committed so as to see realities to truths (Anderson,2017 p.48-49).
They have to work smart so as hold the truth of every reality. Each day should have an image
which discusses the truths about the reality. Also, they need to sacrifice each other. Only those
who devote themselves fully acquire their goals.
Therefore, for every workplace to increase productivity every subject within need to be
motivated. Only motivation can boost the attainment of organizational goals. Personal mastery
on management measures one’s discipline.
