Documentation Management is the use of software and computer system for storing,
managing and tracking the electronic documents and electronic images of the paper based
details and information that are captured through using document scanner (Haleplidis et al.
2015).
What Records Management Is?
Record management refers to the administration and supervision of the paper and
digital records, notwithstanding the format of the paper. The record manager activities range
from receipt, creation, use, maintenance and the disposal of the records (Spallarossa et al.
2016).
How the two impact an Organisation?
Documentation management and record management are vital parts of broader
function of an organisation. With the help of documentation management, organisation
ensures greater productivity and by means of record management, an organisation can ensure
that it has the access to its most accurate and current documents.
What is an Information Management Strategy?
Information Management Strategy is a strategic document which help in aligning the
information practises for meeting the information governance framework requirements
(Ashworth, Tucker and Druhmann 2016).
