Summarization of Article
Management information system can be easily defined as an information system and
management which is mainly used for covering the large number of application related to people,
procedures and technologies which is altogether used for solving various kinds of issues related
to business (Naveen Nicoias, 2014).
The second article discusses MIS as a kind of integrated user based machine system for
an organization. This particular system makes use of various kinds of hardware and software’s,
various manual procedures and lastly database (Laudon & Laudon, 2016). This article also
discusses about the two kinds of approaches which mainly defined the subsystem of an MIS like
organizational functionality, managerial related activities.
The third article defines MIS as a system which provides various kinds of information
support for decision making in an organization (Power, Sharda & Burstein, 2015). As per third
article it can be also defined as a kind of system which is depended on database for an
organization which is mainly depended on providing various kinds of information for the people
of this organization.
Three different concepts
In the first article Management Information System (MIS) can be defined as a planned
kind of system which is used for collection, storing and dissemination of various kinds of data in
the form of information that is needed for the function of management (Naveen Nicoias, 2014).
The second paper discusses about the various physical components of a management information

article mainly discusses about conceptual kind of framework of management information system

Application of three different concepts
As an IT expert, the management information system provides various kinds of decision
makers to have the data which is needed for fulfilling the various kinds of responsibilities in an
organization (Naveen Nicoias, 2014). It generally provides data which is used by managers or IT
expert so that they can easily have idea regarding the responsibility in a particular zone. It also
helps in taking up of right decision in any situation. It generally provides managers with
improved kind of decision making which is accurate for them. Management information system
will help the IT experts to examine the various possibilities and also helps in analyzing of
various kinds of situation.
