INTRODUCTION
Management information system is an info system used for decision taking and for
control, coordination and visualization of data in a company. MIS testing human, technology and
processes in organizational context. This assignment explains the concept of information silos,
problems IS cause in database and also justified different business function which integrated by
ERP goods. Furthermore, this study clarified the significance of procurement as an
organizational procedure.

Information silos is a data management system that is unable to freely interact or
communicate with other info management program (Mitake, Yamada and Nakajima, 2019).
Communication within this system is always vertical, creating it difficult for system to work with
unrelated programs. It exists when administration does not believe there to be enough benefit
from transferring information and approval to data might not be useful to personnel in other
programmes. Furthermore, information silos also exist because managers or top management
control flow of data and access to silos, meaning that they had an incentive to maintain status
quo. Information silos causes many problems such as duplication of efforts, missed opportunities
and lack of synergy. For example, as team work separately and continue to restrict transferred
access to data and system, it becomes more difficult to develop a consensus on priorities for
overall business.
Different business function integrated by enterprises resource planning products
ERP is business procedure management software that permits an company to use a
system of integrated apps to manage and operate business as well as automate several back office
functions related to services, technology and human resources. Enterprise resource planning uses
as centralized database for many business procedures to reduce manual worker and to simplify
current business workflows (VORONKOVA and et.al., 2017). Varied business functions are
integrated by ERP goods such as,
Financial accounting-
This business function is combined by ERP goods, it is considered as field of accounting
concerned with conclusion, reporting and analysis of financial transactions related to the firms.
Management accounting-
The manager of this management or business function use provisions of accounting data
in order to better info themselves before they decide matters within firm which help their
administration and performance of control functions.

Human resource management-
HR is another business function that related to enterprise resource planning goods, it
helps to recruit new applicants and trained existing workers in order to enhance the productivity
of companies rather than before.
Importance of procurement as an organizational procedure
Procurement section is mandated to execute three main functions, manage firms
spending, support operations and protect business from risk. An effective procurement activity is
vital in deploying a good annual purchasing plan, buying procedures, leveraging robust and cost
reduction methodologies (Akanmu, Ajayi and Akinsiku, 2019). It is see as supporting to
streamline procedures, help to reduce raw materials and determine better sources of supply.
Procurement play vital role in context of business; it helps to obtain services and products in
response to internal needs.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis, it has been concluded that information silos cause many issues in
database it impacts on information sharing procedure negatively. Furthermore, it has been
summarized that procurement play important role in firm as it helps to enhance productivity and
increase profit margin.
