In business world, every organization uses digital technology as it help company to
functioning with a sustainability and efficiency by introducing dramatic changes within
management quality of technical and decision making process (Agheli and Hashemi, 2018).
Pandemic has created many difficulties for the business organization due to which many people
had lost their jobs while some business get closed. In order to overcome from these type of
challenges, business started to uses the digital technology for instance, people start to work from
their homes (Ahmed and Le, 2021). Company chosen in this report is Sainsbury which is a
retailing company and its headquarter is located in UK. This report will be based on the impact of
information and communication technology on workforce and existing polices and management in
relation to development, talent acquisition and learning. It will also include the role of leader that
help the company to implement new initiatives.

various aspects. ITC aid enterprise to take effective decision and also help them to have a

relation to the information and technology there are certain role and impact of this which are
discussed below:
Information and communication technology make a business more effective, efficient and
promptly respond to the customers needs. It assist business activities such as
manufacturing, distribution, research and development, sales and feedback and many more
(Bovea and et. al. 2018).
Technology secure the organisational transactions by protecting them form the harmful
elements that has been help in a business. By using information technology, company can
store their data safely. This practise of company build a trust among organisation and their
clients as it make feel their client's that there data and personal information are in safe

bring effective guidelines related to health such as wear masks, use the hand sanitizer
before entering in the office. So that its employees will not affected by any type of harmful
diseases.
It is advised to Sainsbury that they should develop the new technique to so that the
contact among people can be minimized. They should be a facility of robotics billing in
order to avoid the people's contact. They should follow the rule of social distancing as it
