1.3 Evaluate communication processes in selected business.
In hospitality, communication is the most important process from which they can
communicate with customers and satisfy them by explaining the services and product. So
they prefer verbal communication and written communication. In verbal communication they
use three processes first is sender have an idea which needs to express the second person.
Second is message travels on the channel in this which way use to send the message like
mobile communication, face to face etc. And the third is a receiver which can receive the
message. So in the hotel manager can give the training that how to interact with other
countries tourist because different countries have different language and culture. Employees
need to know a different language. Hotel management needs to give the advertising in their

2.3 Set and prioritize objectives and targets to develop own potential.
For developing, the potential we need to fix the target and objective of the organization so I
have to need knowledge about the necessary tools for developing a good relationship from
the customer. For setting the target needs three major steps market segmentation, positioning,
and targeting.
Market Segmentation: market segmentation I can target different groups of the
customer for marketing the products that are shopping, media usage, price sensitivity,
attitudes, and other characteristics (Tsiotsou, 2012). I can give preference to these
group because if the product and service will satisfy the need and preference of the
customer then we could try from this productive market growth will effect.
Targeting: in this step after segmentation we can make the structural attractiveness for
those groups for increasing sales of the product. We can also analyze that which is the
more profitable service in the group or which service will like by the customer want
to promote more than other product. from which they get more profit.
Positioning: this is the last step for targeting the market. Positioning is the task in
which we targeting the customer mind and get the offers in the product and services.
From this customer will not go to another company product. The market was made by
competition, development and set the aim of the positions, communicate and deliver
the selected position of target segments.
Conclusion
In this, we can find out that the problems come when the manager's skills are not good if we
not how to handle the employees and how the work will be done at which time. In this, we
can also analyze what we need to improve in the strength, weakness and also how to grab the
opportunities of marketing.

LO3: Be able to show managerial skills within a business and services context
Introduction
This is the reflective report of me working as a leader in Frankie & Benny's restaurant. It will
cover my techniques for motivating team members and the process of team building to
achieve the goals and objectives of Frankie & Benny's restaurant. It will also cover my
managerial decisions that will help in getting success in completing goals.
3.1 Lead and motivate a team to achieve an agreed goal or objective
As a leader of the team for Frankie & Benny's restaurant to start a new restaurant in Stratford,
there is a need to motivate the team so that the objectives and goals can be achieved. I will
use the following steps and strategies for motivating my team:
As the project is new, first of all, I will tell my team about the goals and objectives so that
a clear image of what to achieve and what they have to do for the restaurant can be
formed (Leadership thoughts, 2018).
After completion of every task or activity, I will appreciate the employees for their
performance and also I will also conduct felicitation activities that will include the
distribution of awards and certificates for best performance. This will help in motivating
employees to do better work.
I will create an environment such that my team members can know each and support each
other for doing the task together. This environment will help in building team spirit in the
employees and also the people of same interest and the same goals can share their work
that will complete the task earlier.
If my team members get stuck in any task or they are facing issues then I will give them
advice or share it with the experts so that the headache of these problems can be removed
from employees
The main part of the processing of any project is the need for resources. I will provide the
team with all the resources required on time so that they can do their task without any
delay (Chrone, 2019).
Sometimes there is a lack of coordination between team members, for this, there is a need
for a team development plan. This plan is divided into five stages(Mensah, 2016):
Forming: Introduction with other team members, don’t show disagreement and
trust
