INTRODUCTION
Operation management is part of management which concern on designing and controlling of
production and designing of products and services. In this report role of management and
leadership will be highlighted. Approaches of operation management will be discussed in this
study. Operation management department of Amazon will be highlighted in this report. Amazon
is multinational company which focuses on e-commerce marketplace, cloud computing platform.
It was founded by Jeff Bezos, on 5 July 1994 and established in Seattle, Washington. Initially it
has started working as book seller but later on expanded as retailer of consumer goods, digital
media, its own electronic products and others.
