of the life science and automated medical instrumentation to the market (Dwivedi, et al., 2015).
KMC system provides integrated services which help in solving the complex challenges and
conceiving the innovative ideas. They provide the best solution for medical product

updates. By interacting with the website, the company used to collect the information by using

Organizational strategy, the functionalities, and the applications
MIS system is based on the theory of the cognitive in which the performance gets affected due to
the presentation of the information. This theory is basically concerned with the behaviors and the
attitudes and tries to eliminate the change inconsistency (Kamel Boulos and Wheeler, 2017).
MIS is the use of the technical information so it carries out the several functions of the
management. This system is basically concerned with the product, people, procedure and
technologies. With the help of this theory, large companies offer many products and services to
their clients. The organization strategy is to involve long term policy decision.
The main strategy of the organization is to bring excellence in the operations. The organization
structure should be in the ways to serve the best product and services and maintain all the data
effectively and accurately. The decision making of the company gets improved when MIS
system is used in the company. MIS system also gives a competitive advantage to the company
from the other competitor company so it is also the strategy of the company to use this system
software. Nowadays the world has become more technological so companies use the MIS system
to allocate, process and store the data and keep the information accurately in the computers
(Seethamraju, 2015).
There are several functions of the MIS system as it improves the efficiency, connectivity and the
decision making of the company. MIS system is used in the company Tesco which is the large
organization. MIS system has several functions such as it provides fast and accurate information
so the company’s large company uses this information system to take a better and quicker

decision. MIS system helps in improving the bottom line of the company (Krombholz, et al.,
2015). The efficiency and productivity of the company are also get increased with the help of
this system. This system makes the connection at each level of the organization and helps in
providing rational information. The small organization such as Ledbury Restaurants has to
manage the inventories and the data of their customers in an accurate format so it also uses the
MIS system because it has effective functions.
The large and medium organization uses this MIS application because they are based on future
oriented goals. This application is also cost-effective so large organization also uses this
information system. MIS has the great feature that they are very accurate and reliable data which
helps in improving the efficiency of the company. So this application provides accurate
information which helps in taking useful decisions. Another feature of the MIS system is that
they are very flexible as the software application can adopt any changes (Mingers, et al., 2013).
The computer application is designed in the appropriate way that they can modify as per the
circumstances. A large organization is made up for long term processing so MIS system is also
very effective for them as it helps in managing the long term plan. The design of MIS which is
used by the large organization is future-oriented so that nay changes can be done in that. It is also
an integrated system which provides meaningful information.
There is several MIS application which is used in the companies which are stated below:
Business Intelligence System: This MIS application is very effective as it helps the executives
and the management of the company to graph and print the data. This application also helps in
enhancing the growth, efficiency, strategic control, improves the performance and manages the
risk (Indiatsy, et al., 2014).
Executive Information System: This application system also gives the same information as the
Business intelligence system. This application provides more confidential information and helps
the organization in making more effective decisions.
Marketing Information System: This application provides the data which helps in determining
the work about the past marketing campaign which helps in achieving the desired results. With
the help of this application, the company can evaluate what work needs to change and what work
should not do for better outcomes (Zhu, et al., 2015).

Human resource management system: This application helps in tracking the performance of
the employees and with the pyramid of their performance they are paid. To improve the bottom-
line performance of the company this application is used and it is also effective in measuring the
performance.
Porter’s competitive forces model in a bank
Porter’s five forces model will be explained in Banking Industries EcoBank Sierra Leone Ltd
are:
The threat of new entrants: AS per the FDIC every year new banks are opened. So the entrants
of the new bank in the market are very high as there are many existing banks in the country. The
financial information and the money are dealt with in the bank so the customers rely on the old
bank more in comparison to the new bank.
Power of suppliers: The major power of supplier is capital which is based on the market. As the
market is very fluctuating in the country so the power of supplier range between medium too
high. There were majorly four suppliers in the market of capital which the deposits of the
customers, loans and mortgage, loans from the other financial institution and the mortgage-based
securities.
Power of buyers: The power of buyer is very much so they do not have much threat in the bank.
The buyer has the power to switch to any other bank for any other banking services such as a
mortgage, checking, savings, etc. The internet banking services also increase their power as the
cost of customers gets reduced and it is easy to access.
Availability of substitutes: There are many banks that are providing several bank services so
there is the threat of being a substitute. There are many banks who are offering services like
mutual funds, insurances, fixed income and securities so the availability of the substitute is high.
There were some banks who offer a lower interest rate than the customers get attracted to them.
Competitive rivalry: There is very high competition in the market in terms of the banking
sector. Everyone is there who needs the services of a bank to manage their money and tax
effectively so it increases the competition in the market. The competition is increasing in the

banking sector as all the banks are providing the services fast and best to attain the money from
the market.
The increasing popularity of mobile devices, Information system, Web 2.0, online collaboration,
social networks, etc. are helpful for the banks and their customers. Web 2.0 is easy to use and
many edits can be made easily so many people use this. The mobile application has made easy
for the customers to do any transactions online. If the customers want to check the balance or
transfer nay balance to anyone then can do this by online with the help of the mobile phones
also. Even if someone wants to make any payments then they do no went to banks or ATM
machines, they generally do the payment through the online mobile apps. Technology has made
banking services more easy and convenient. With the help of the information system like SAP,
Oracle the customers can operate their data accurately and helps them to monitor on a regular
basis (Belk, 2014).
The social networking sites are also very helpful for the customers as they also encourage the
online transaction and help the users to access that. People generally use social networks on
mobile devices only so customers can easily attract and get benefited from the social sites. With
the help of the online collaboration, the transactions are done rapidly and they are also cost-
efficient. If the customers could not access to the location of the bank they can make the
transactions easier through the place they are by using the online collaboration (Shah, 2014). The
customers get better services by doing the online transactions and the banks can immediately
transfer the funds. It is quite easy and no fees are charged for transferring or doing any financial
transactions. For banks so tackle all the transaction of the customers is quite difficult so with the
help of the online transaction and the use of the mobile devices the banks can break down their
load and can easily provide their services to the customers. The records of the account
transactions can also be easily accessed so it is helpful for the customers top to know their past
transactions also and for the banks do not make transactions at the passbook for the query
(Peppard, et al., 2014).
All the online transactions which are done are very secured and easy but if any important
information of the account are disclosed or theft by any other person then the security of the
technologies can be ruined (Petter, et al., 2013). IS, online collaboration, Web 2.0, Social

Networks helps in accessing the bank transaction easily but the security in these social
networking sites are very less. There were many cyber-attacks which are happening at the baking
transactions so to do the online transaction is not properly secured.
