manager perform various functions such as planning, organising, directing and monitoring the
performance of employees to facilitate coordination in an enterprise. The role of leader and
function of a manger behave differently according to a situation. The report cover key aspects of
operation approaches such as total quality management, six sigma, just in time and so on to
improve the quality of products and to reduce the defects. The report comprises of importance of
