INTRODUCTION
Operating a business organisation include various operations. Hence many people are
required to perform all the tasks in an effective and efficient manner. Leaders and managers are
the people who take several responsibilities of organisation. They are responsible for allotting the
responsibilities to the various employees of organisation. If all the work is not divided among the
employees, it may create various critical situation of confusion. The life of a business is full of
challenges. Every new day bring new challenges. Solving all the issues and making a clear path
are the key points of the success of business. This report is based on the Jaguar Land Rover
which is a British multinational Car manufacturing company having headquarter in Whitley,
England. The purpose of making this report is to analyse the role of a leader and the functions of
manager in an organisation along with their operations functions of an organisation. In addition
to this, it also cover the relationship between leadership and management in a contemporary
business environment.

Mangers and leaders both are important pillar of an organisation. They have different
roles and responsibilities in every organisation. Below mentioned are the two situations which
undertake at the workplace of Jaguar along with the functions of leader and manager which are
applying in those situations:

This situation state that the working environment of the organisation is not so good.
Negative work environment directly shows the negative result over the performance of
employees.
