Environmental uncertainity and structure
Environmental uncertainty is described as the degree which a business organization lack
the formal information relating to internal and external operating environment. The internal
business environment is concerned with how the business organization conducting its operation
within all structures, while the external environment of environment embraces on the facts about
how business operates in a particular market. Therefore, a business environment is explained to
be the surrounding that a business organization is operating in. The environmental uncertainties
are bounded by dynamic changes that keep on changing. However, the business environment
uncertainties substantiate issues that arises from social-cultural, legal, political, technological and
economic factors (Dwivedi, 2018).
The environmental business uncertainties affect the operation of a business organization.
Political factors subsequently imply the legal laws and taxes that are imposed to the organization
to by the government. Social-cultural factors demand the organization to produce products and
abide by the social cultural customer of specific area of operation. Technology elements explains
the use of technology which might not be relevant to business organization, change in
technology may also be expensive and thus affecting the business operations of a particular
enterprise. On the other hand, economic factor embraces the impact of micro and macros
economic factor of the organization, these elements affects the financial operation as well as the
profitability making process of the organization (Katz, 2017).

Organizational strategy and structure is described the action plan of a business enterprise
which they intend to use in order to achieve their long-term objectives. The organizational
strategy takes at least a period of one year to be completed, since it is used as road-map of
attaining long-term goals it requires the decisions to be made from all levels of the organization.
It is the role of the organizational management to allow all stakeholder drawn from all level of
management to contributes in formulating the road-map of attaining the strategic goals and
objective. The business organization that operates in a diverse environment should consider the
ideas of their geographical executives (Kerzner, 2018).
Organizational structure is defined as the process of outlining on how certain activities
are to be performed in relation to achievement of organizational goals and objectives. The
organizational structure is directed to determine how information should flow within all the
management levels of management. However, the level of management in an organization
determine the organizational structure to be applied in an organization. The organizational
structure is categorized into, matrix structure, divisional, functional and project organizational
structure (Schaltegger & Wagner, 2017).
