Introduction
The reflection report covers the personal experience based on the challenges faced by me
while working in the organisation. Student life is the transformational era of one`s life in
which I have learnt specific morals, theoretical models, wisdom, and develop leadership
skills through courses and co-curriculum activities. During 20s, I have planned to join an
internship through which I can understand the practical implication as well implementation of
theoretical concepts.
Reflection
Undoubtedly, self-awareness is a great opportunity to achieve personal success and
development. While using my skills to motivate and create an impact on organisation.
Motivation at workplace is the willingness to exert severe pressure towards the organisational
goals as being conditioned by the individual efforts (Ardelt, & Grunwald, 2018).
Motivational theories helped me to understand how it drive employees to focus on goals,
improve organisational production, and achieve competitive advantage.
From the first module, I have studied how nature of company creates challenge and lack of
communication can spoil my image. Negotiation is an important part of business, which
creates relationship between a customer and the manager. This is the time when I worked as
an intern in an MNC and learnt the importance of motivation amongst the employees. From
the second module, it is seen that conflicts are an important part of company because of its
people diversity creating leadership conflicts, cultural conflicts, and work style conflicts
(Saniani, & Azad, 2018). In this case, I have often seen that due to discrimination issues
between the employees where the boss has been giving opportunity to the girl, who belongs
to upper class of the society without having any talent. On the other hand, we are taught that
results must be include personal prejudice and a person must be analysed on the basis of their

quality and behavioural attributes at the workplace. I have noticed that the manager often
issue a code of conduct in order to protect the employee from several risks such as health
risks. No employee likes to get negative performance reviews but it is avoidable if one is
dedicated towards their goals (Ardelt, & Grunwald, 2018).
Presence of power and politics indicates that the company has a hierarchy, which has upper
level management, middle level management, and lower level management. Upper level
management makes decision, and middle level management undertakes the distribution of
work among the floor level workforce (Dishon, Oldmeadow, JCritchley, & Kaufman, 2017).
Floor level management are delegated with a plan to execute the estimated profits with the
help of production techniques (Chao, Chen, Star, & Dede, 2016). While starting my
internship, I will have to start to learn negotiation skills, which is used to decide the price of
any product and satisfy the demand of the customer. I have to handle the price negotiation as
misbehaviour can lead to negative reviews of my product as well as the organisation, which
can spoil the organisation`s image. For example- if a customer is dissatisfied with sales
people whom actually feels being victim of fraud by the sales person. On the other hand,
power and politics have severe impact on stakeholders of the organisation whether it is
internal and external stakeholders (Chen et al., 2019). The use of power can be either positive
or negative. For example- power can be used in several ways; this shows that one can also
misuse his/her power. On the other hand, reward power leads to the positive impact on the
employee. Furthermore, I always needs to be more flexible regarding the adoption of changes
in the organisation. For me, self-awareness is relatable to the effectiveness of leadership and
management. Self- awareness has helps individual to create a foundation behind the
communication skills (Chen et al., 2019).

Conclusion
From the above discussion, it is seen that self-identification is moist important part of self-
awareness, where one can improve and inculcate the skills that he/she does not have. On the
other hand, one should identify the skills and talent he/she possess and give some time to
garnish it and present it to the world. I have a dream of working in multinational companies,
which can be accomplished by working on oneself.
