INTRODUCTION
There are ample number of challenges in food service industry which arises due to lack
of management and necessary to improvement in products and services. These report is based on
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London that is one of the famous restaurant in UK. It is provides
various service facility to guest (World Health Organization, 2020). The food service industry
dealing in various service operations on that basis using different management practises as well
as they dealing with wide range of tools and techniques. Moreover, there are ample numbers of
recommendations which helps to improve the performance of organisation and their functions.

used in organisation.
Both methods are important for an organisation in order to improving system
effectiveness and mangers of the company using various strategies in order to achieving the
organisation goal and objectives. In relevance of Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, it is focused in
management practices such as training and empowering staff, selective hiring, sharing
information with employees, developing new strategies for improving quality of service and
products. They are using various aspect which helps to improving both these factors which are
mentioned below.
Selective hiring-: Organisation using these method in order to smooth processing of
operations which includes on hiring those candidate which are capable and able to perform the
functions effectively so easily manage the things along with establishment healthy relationship
with their subordinates in order to improve the performance of employees (Reich, 2016).
Providing training and encouraged employees-: It is useful techniques most of the

Park focused on these strategy which hiring of new employees so providing proper training in
order to perform effective and they also providing healthy working environment which easily

Customer satisfaction and feedback-: Customer is valuable assets of the organisation
without that organisation cannot survive for long time. There are ample numbers of competitors
are available ta marketplace in order to developing new strategies so gaining competitive
advantages. In reference of Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, it utilised various techniques they take
review and feedback of employees in order to improving the performance of organisation
(Gweranenzara, 2018).
Food service quality monitoring & controlling-: These is the most important method
which are using in an organisation in order to monitoring food packages, checking weighting,

organisation in order to employees perform their activities effectively. In context of Mandarin

problems. All the team members participate in these activity because better idea comes out and
mangers implement effectively on that basis easily solve the problem (Moore, 2019).

of organisation challenges which impact on the performance of company and they are dealing so
