Nojax Employee Personality Analysis
Nojax Company deals in the Apparel industry and the major products of the company is
manufacturing and designing sportswear. During the interview process of the different
employees, one of the most important things is to consider the different traits based on the big
five personality. Openness is something that must be given importance by the management of
Nojax as because people having this particular personality are much more imaginative, insightful
and creative in nature. The better the creativity, the better will be for Nojax as because creativity
is important for the business. Out of the seven different employees who are being considered by
the company, two of them have a high level of openness. Alice Bloom, who is the manager of
the designing department has a low level of openness and thus needs a better training for
increasing openness.
The diversified ethnic backgrounds help the company to enjoy positive outcomes within
the company. Nojax employees are Caucasian, African-American and Hispanic which makes
them diverse in culture and nature. This different personalities of each of the different persons
increases diversity and brings in a new and unique makeup. The simple statement generally
impacts the dynamic interactions that the people have with each other. According to, Bai, Wu &
Cheung, (2019) a core aspect of the individuality of the person is based on his personality and
therefore the five traits of the human behavior attains serious importance in this regards. In my
belief openness is one of the most important traits of the big five personality. The level of
openness focuses on how much willing a person is to try out new things and accept major
challenges in professional life (Iqbal & Hassan, 2016). The basic aim of openness is to ensure
that the person comes out of his comfort zone. A person with a high score in this particular

category generally loves to take up new projects while a low score refers that a person is not
multi-tasking and he likes to limit himself into a safe zone.
Neuroticism I believe is the most important in terms of the personality trait. Employees
of the modern day business organizations have to work under stress and thus it is quite hard for
them to work freely. Neuroticism has been observed in most of the supervisors of the business at
different times. Alice Bloom who is the design department manager, often suffers from
depression as he cites that he sometimes feel too pressured given his serious lack of openness.
Secondly Janet Johnson being an African American have often been through instances where she
was indirectly taunted for her ethnicity and colour. This had made her quite vulnerable to stress.
The Apparel Product Manager, Ms. Jessie Mercado has a low openness which makes her quite
stressful while working. Apart from this the lifting shoes product manager, Lynn Bryant is too
angry during peak seasons as she tends to lose her stability in any small issues. This all examples
clearly depicts that neuroticism has been a major issue among the employees.
The selection of four pairs for Management operations includes the pairs of Alice Bloom
and Janet Johnson, Carrie Durant and Jessie Mercado and last but not the least Lynn Bryant and
Anam Basra. All these four different supervisor pairs have some strengths and weaknesses based
on their operational abilities. They are as follows;
